changes to FA

I think-no nevermind, I know FA is the best game I have ever played but the damage numbers are slightly annoying to me.I know the damages of weapons are made to be balanced but its crazy when it takes three 5.56 rounds to kill someone-even to the head. Why not make helmets be effective only against pistol rounds. This would make the advantage of using a rifle much better from far distances and still allow pistol cal. weapons to be more effective up close becuase of the ROF. I am not bashin FA at all I just thing it needs help in the damage department.What do u guys hink, -PUNISHER

punisher:if the FA team did what u said about increasing armour of the helmet ,most guns ppl use are .9mm and .45mm then if they increased the armour then they would have to increase the power of the guns which use .9mm or .45mm if they didnt do that then it wouldnt be fair so i say to keep things they way they are.

I think the greater advantage of using an assault rifle over a SMG is simply the damage capacity. If you and your opponent are jumping around shooting at each other, him with a SMG and you with an AR, he probably won't kill you with the first clip, but you'll do about equal damage with larger bullets at a slower ROF. This means that when his clip runs out, you'll still have 10 bullets in yours, and then you can back up a bit and finish him off.The SMG advantage is when two people are running at each other or in a confined space, then first one to fill the other with lead wins. But if you move around enough with an AR, you'll take away his advantage. He'll run out of bullets first and you just have to step back and splatter him. ;)
