Ditto. I played regular for hours last night with my buddies and it is fun, but Hardcore is way better IMO. What are the actual differences between regular and Hardcore anyway? Anyone know the specifics (not just "people die easier")?

Actually, I was just being sarcastic. I don't care if it was written on the Escape from Monkey Island code base, the functionality still hasn't changed in over 10 years. I just thought that Infinity Ward would have figured this out by now.

Ditto. The MP interface is straight out of Quake 2....circa 1997. Lack of player search ability and buddylist/clan support dropped my vote from excellent to average. Also, why hasn't any other developer adopted the server queue, "You are number xx in line to join the server..." functionality of Novalogic Joint Operations? I'm totally puzzled why no title does this yet. Instead you have to keep slamming the server over and over and over to join it when it is full. That is my only gripe. The MP game itself is dang fun. Single player is A+++++

Thanks guys. Did you ever get a server going with other game types, like Sabatage? That's an awesome game mode. Anyway, just wondering. My buddy and I should be playing there this week. Long time player on your 2142 server, first time caller...Gamb, Gadfry and Griiimeh joined the COD4 server I was playing in the other night and I thought to myself "oh God, they followed me all the way to a totally random COD4 server just to humiliate me some more". They joined my side, so that put my mind at ease and I asked if you folks are going to have a COD4 server. Just wondering the status, as your 2142 servers were gold, Jerry, gold. I enjoyed playing 2142 with the Armory and look forward to COD4. Thanks.. EDIT: Any site that still carries the dancing banana in it's repertoire of smilies gets "Respek, yo" in my book
