As I said in my previous reply, I don't think that any of us can rightfully answer that. The emotion and fear involved in that situation is something that none of us here can relate to. There isn't one person on this forum that has had to make a decision between which of two or three ways they definitely want to die within the next hour. A USA Today article said: "Ultimately, they were choosing not whether to die but how to die."

My God. That last one... a man, just like a lot of us here, who went to work to make an honest living ---- and not hours later found himself trying to decide whether to burn to death or jump to his death. None of us here can ever fathom how difficult a decision that must have been. It amazes me that people can ask us to have mercy on the regimes that carried out this plot after looking at a photograph like that. May his soul rest in peace and his family find peace in their hearts after such a loss.
  7. Wow. That's gorgeous. Flat out.
  8. I've been working 12-13 hour days but will try to get a night in before the end of the week. Thanks for understanding!

My wife and I went out this weekend an bought an American flag. It proudly adorns the front of our home in rememberance of all that lost their lives on 9/11, all of our soldiers that risk their lives every day for our freedom and safety, and to all the men and women that fight our fires, patrol our streets, drive our ambulances and man our medical facilities. I guess what I'm trying to say is: GOD BLESS THE USA! http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/assets/product_images/230/3456713555362P.JPG

If you need the IP addresses, just click on "Live Status" at the top of the screen here and then select "Server Status." You'll find the IP for our SF server and the Vanilla VSF server!
  11. Hm..... looks like a name is missing. Let me help you out: K2
  12. I think you may misunderstand how this works (or I misunderstood your post). One person takes the image and designs it. They save it is a LAYERED file (if you don't know what layers are - probably shouldn't do the design battle). They then email the LAYERED file to the next person on the list. That person must then add to the image while retaining significant elements from the previous person's design. They then save the LAYERED file and pass it on, etc, etc. Make sense?
  13. Or perhaps if we have that many people - we only do one round each? I'm sure you'll figure it out!
  14. I'm thinking we crank up a CS:S server and get some serious game on. At least with that game the "problems" were predictable. We had some hella-fun playing that junk.
  15. If it's only 2 days per person... I can't do it. My schedule is pretty full right now. I would probably need at least a week.
  16. I was gonna go right out and get it... but I think I'm going to let everyone else beta test it for me - then I'll see about buying it.
  17. Since BF2142 is built on the same code platform that BF2 was built on (from what I've heard) I expect it to be plagued with similar problems that BF2 suffered from. It's unfortunate that the opportunity for the world's best game ever was right there within reach and they screwed it up. This is a pivotal time for EA. If they drop the ball on 2142 - it's going to be very hard to regain the trust of their customers.
  18. It's very simple... the rotation is drawn at random and each person does, for instance, two rounds. So if the participants were Klink, K2 & Eskimo. Then the rotation could look like this: -start- K2 Klink Eskimo K2 Klink Eskimo -end- Does this make sense? Each round builds on the next. The only problem that we may have is finding a layered file type that everyone could use. In order to modify the file appropriately we would need access to the layers. So everyone would have to use Photoshop. I'm not sure if PSP or GIMP has layers.?. or if Photoshop can read them.?.
  19. I downloaded the 500 meg demo only to play for 20 minutes and decide that it's uninteresting and quite frankly, boring. The graphics are nice but it seems like a somewhat less-interesting version of Commandos. As Smash put it,"Thanks... but no thanks."
