Rambo: Best (and by best I mean most violent and gratuitous) action movie ever? Discuss.

Personally, I thought the extended Browning M2 .50 ownage sequence was a scene long overdue in the repetoire of movie action sequences.

Also, the knife kills were amazing

Saw it last night and thought it was a fitting last movie for the Rambo series. I liked the realistic scenes. A .50 cal did just what it would do to a body. I also liked the fact that they portrayed the enemy doing just what they would be doing and did not water it down so all the bleeding hearts could watch it and still fell good about themselves. They showed just what happens in some of those countries. The fact that he finally returned home was a great ending, because in the first one that is where he was trying to go. Now as for the kids to watch I would have to say no until they were older and could under stand.
This movie was epic beyond anything. They say war is hell. Well guess what there you have it. That is what war is really like. Im taking my grandma to see it next weekend cause she is a big rambo fan. But like i said this moive is the greatest and to those who say other wise. You can talk to Rambo and his machete.......heh

I liked it but some of the special effects ruined it for me. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but the .50, as big as it is, does not do that. ;)

Good movie though!

The Gun he was using does actually do that it, but it may not be a 50 cal but the gun he was using will do that to someone.

I'm not going to argue with you but it doesn't. Bullets don't knock you back 10 feet nor do they blow clean-perfect 3 inch holes in your body. I'm not denying serious trauma and the loss of limbs but seriously, way too much "Hollywood" for a Rambo movie.

I did not see the "clean-perfect 3 inch holes" but whatever you say. ;)
