Arrrrrr! Violent video games

Violent video games make people more relaxed :D

according to new research discovered by Develop Magazine, which found that a sampling of 292 World of Warcraft players, ages 12-83 years, were more likely to feel calm or tired after playing a round of the popular online game. "There were actually higher levels of relaxation before and after playing the game as opposed to experiencing anger but this did very much depend on personality type," said Jane Barnett, who headed the Middlesex study. Translation: If you're an aggressive jackass before you play a video game, you'll still be one after; and video games don't magically turn peaceful people into violent offenders.

Come on after all this time people still say "it's the video games,or the music or movies that make people do stupid things. That's crap IMO silly sheep, stop baaaaa'ing.

It's all the person anyone who disagrees only does so becuz in their live's they did something stupid and blamed it on a game or something.Or are unstable to begin with.

I haven't so much as got in a small little fight since 5th grade, and i've watched all the sames things you all do and play the same things you all do.Yet i've never acted out in violent way.

I have my own personal keyboard graveyard: I have destroyed quite a few keyboards in my time; however, in all other ways I am not a violent person. I have not hit a person in anger since I was in the 7th grade and, believe me, I have certainly had cause to. A person is not simply violent or nonviolent and hitting an inanimate object in anger or frustration is not enough to label a person "violent".
Or is it violent people seek out these games. I think the issue of causality needs to be addressed. Chicken or the violent egg? No one ever considers the inverse of a cause and effect.
