October 15, 20196 yr So I was kind of amazed at the difficulty lvl on those elite drone patrol areas that have the "good" loot in them. I attempted one that had 2 drones there and I was able to take 1 out but would end up getting nuked by the other one while it was at about half health. I was working on missions last night and decided to try something. To my surprise it was 100% effective and they never shot at me. 1) Find a base that has the Loatch chopper with mini guns 2) Clear the base for some Phat Lewtz™ 3) Procure said scout chopper with mini guns. 4) Go to patrol area and light those puppies up Takes a bit as you cant easily see the sensitive areas as with a sniper but you can kill them with the chain gun. Did this a couple of times and never even got shot at. I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this but it works so I thought I would pass it along. I want to find a scout with the rocket pods on it and try those next to see if those make it go quicker.
October 15, 20196 yr You also have the EMP grenades that temporarily stuns them, so you might give those a try as well ...Especially in highrisk drone areas.
