Counter-Strike: Source Update

October 19, 2004, 7:39 pm · valve

An update to Counter-Strike: Source has just been released. Steam will update itself automatically when you restart. Here is a list of the changes:

COUNTER-STRIKE: SOURCE CHANGES / ADDITIONS:

Fixed %n exploit crash

Fixed smoke grenade stacking with repeating sounds

Fixed smoke grenades getting stuck in cracks and never detonating

Also, for future Steam News...read below

I've added a new black name "Steam RSS News Feed". Valve's website, www.steampowered.com, now supports a web protocol called "RSS". This permits other websites to feed directly from any "RSS" broadcasted site such as SteamPowered.com

When Steam has an update, the News will be automatically listed on the TAC website (left block), and will be "Hot off the Press". I made it so the last 5 current Steam News article will be visable.

Also, these updates will pertain to both Half-Life and Half-Life2 and their respective mods. ^_^

Yeah, RSS feeds are sweet. Dag! I want CS:Source, but first must come my HDD and RAM.
damn... now i cant use my temporary borrowed version.... :shock:o well, i dont think im doing any harm since i will most definitly buy it.... eventually ^_^
