i would agree as so far, though it is definitely not for everyone.

"I took away his weapon, and then I took his OTHER weapon"

it's"I took away his weapon, both of them..."

yea, it was a really awesome movie. I can definatly see why it had it's +18 rating (though I was still able to get in)

I like the part where he's dragging the guy outside his car door

"I don't know about you, but I'm having a ball..."

But it's strange.. I remember seeing the wolf guy near the ending again, in the barn. Or maybe it was just a flashback?

Though I loved the part where the guy rips out the orange man's testes :].

all three stories are running at the same time, so when you see the wolf at the end, that means it's before Marv got to him

I thought it was pretty darn good too. Nice and ultraviolent

All the stories take place in different chronological order than shown in the movie. So Elijah Wood is still alive because Marv's story wasn't completed in the time that the other story was taking place.

thanks for correcting the quote, I couldnt remember it exactly. I think he took more than just the testes, I think he removed the whole "block and tackle"
that confuses me 5 times more.

in reality, the graphic novels the movie is based off are three seperate books. But for the movie, they melded them together. All the graphics novels are on the same day, just about different people and what they were doing, and sometimes their paths cross (like when Bruce Willis sees Marv in the bar)

oh i get it.. so the 3 stories dont all take place at the exact same time..

like one will show from 12pm to 12am, then the next story will show the same day at 12pm to 12am, and same with the next?

yes i really enjoyed it, and now i gotta find the novels

I still cant figure out what the heck was up with Josh Hartnett's character. Was he just some random hitman meant to symbolize the violence or something

Is that the guy with the Ladys of Sin City and kills that cop?uh yeah, I think it went something like, when they were first making the movie they had to convince the author (forget his name now) that they could actully pull off the style and mood of the books and capture that onscreen, so they ran a few screens with this Josh Hartnett character. The author was convinced and gave them the go ahead to do the rest. And really not wanting to waste the work they did, they left those test scenes in the movie as the third story
O.O double poster :D anyway i wanna see that but i guess im just too lazy to see it and Rip, youre 14 right? howd you get in? stole your parents ID did you!? YOU ROTTEN LITTLE MUFFIN! :D (<3)
Im talking about the dude who kills the lady in the VERY beginning, and who was disguised as a doctor in the VERy end, are we talking about the same person? Its like he was just randomly inserted in the movie

oh that guyI believe he has some significance in the books, but for the movie, yeah he's just a representation of life in Sin City I guess
