A whole system's worth of components

Featured Replies

So, its time for me to start financing my new gaming rig. As such, Im going to start selling off my old system. Here are the components, they are all for sale, whether in groups or seperately. Prices are negotiable, just tell me if you are interested.

2 gigs DDR 400 (4x 512) Corsair value RAM

AMD 64 3000+ Venice Core (good overclocking core, havent tried though)

BFG Nvidia 7800 GTX 256 MB

OCZ 450 Watt PSU with voltage fine tuning controls. (This thing is a quality supply, its only a couple months old)

The mobo aint worth selling for any money, its an early ATI chipset micro ATX board with an integrated X300 video card and a single PCI express slot. If you want it, Ill give it to you, just pay shipping.

Is that agp?

I might take it. I will jsut have to get a new cpu to go with it, but it would definately improve my system. Then my socket A 3000+ won't slow me vid card down.

Sorry, the vid card is PCIX, but I will give you the mobo for free and it has a PCIX 16 slot. It supports socket 939 AMD 64's I believe.

A brand new venice 3000+ is 55 plus shipping, so I guess 35 plus shipping is what I would as for mine
You said the video card is PCI express???? If so, how much for vid card. I'm thinking of switching mobos with pcie when I completely upgrade. But, I could use a temp vid card for now. Also, would you sell 1gb of ram or are you trying to sell both?

I meant how much for the whole system.

Falco:

hmmm... Whole system: mobo (free), RAM, vid card, CPU, and PSU for 450.

Wolfey:

Just the video card would be 200 plus shipping. If you can find a better price, Ill beat it. Would you need the mobo as well? I wasnt exactly sure if you meant you had PCIE or not yet.

PSU is gonna cost. Its near brand new, and its a very good supply. I wouldnt let it go for less than 100
Alright lol I was hopin it would be cheaper (Don't know anything about power supplies just yet).

That sounds reasonable. Yeah, I could use the mobo cuz I dont have one for pcie yet. I'll let you know though. I'm trying to decide if I want to buy the 8800 GTX or not. I'm not in any hurry right now, so if someone makes you an offer, then go for it. I dont want to hold you up.

Alrighty, thanks. I won't be able to ship components for about another 2 weeks anyway, I need to get back to school and start ordering my replacement system before I do anything.

Anything over $70 CAN for a 400 - 500W PS is overpriced in my opinion, or atleast it has too many things in it that wont be necessary for me.
