April 13, 200718 yr I watch the show occasionally. Pisses me off that they are voting for the worst singer. That's how Chris Daughtry got voted off last year. They just want to keep Sanjaya around till the end. So, really then you only have one talented singer left at the end. Going to be a hard choice.

April 13, 200718 yr I watch it with my 17 year old daughter. It really doesn't matter much whether a lesser talent (Sanjaya) is kept around longer than some which have a bit more talent (everyone else that's been voted off to this point). There are still what, 7 singers left and of those, there are only 3 max that have any commercial potential. When it gets down to the nitty gritty, hacks like Sanjaya will be shown the door.
April 14, 200718 yr The first few seasons were alright, now it's just sad how much the show is staged. I honestly don't think any of the remaining people are that good at all.

Me and Jairyn can rock it out on vent! (anyone remember the oh-so-famous TAC Vent Band?) and yeah I heard about the whole thing about people voting for the worst one (Sanjaya.) I personally think that it is funny but it is kinda unfair to the people who are actually good
April 14, 200718 yr If you think American Idol is a hack, you might like American Dreamz. It's a movie that makes fun of American Idol. The ironic thing is that the movie actually has a terrorist as one of the contestants. Long story short, Hugh Grant gets blown up in the end (not by the terrorist, who turns out to be good).
