Ibanez RG 350EX. Friend at work sold it to me. It's a $500 guitar, he bought it at Christmas, and there's only 2 visible scratches, he even bought and installed new strings for me. He sold it to me for $300. Pretty good deal lol.

thats a nice guitar.

By your icon, I see you're a porcupine tree fan?

I got to see them in Boston earlier this summer, they put on a pretty ill show.

I'm more of an acoustic fan, thinking about getting an electric too though. Just out of curiosity, how much was it?
Uh, I think he says it on his post, Norcalxx. Go back to owning Griiiimmeh...

LOL I didn't read it. I overlooked the text and just looked at the pictures....lol sorry. ^_^

Anyways, I just bought a Digitech RP50 effects pedal board, has 80 presets on it and it's pretty sweet, just $80.

nice dude, check mine out, i just got it about 2 months ago, its a schecter-omen 6, it had a tiny scratch on the back so i got 50 off, got it for $250, only been playing for like 6 months though, trying to get my chord transitions down, pretty fun past time, besides bf2142! ^_^

Nice, once you think you're ready, I recommend you get a digitech rp effects pedal, it really is a ton of fun to play around with.

There's a music store round me that gives guitar lessons for like $30 a month, you get 1 lesson a week (so 4 lessons in a month). Pretty good deal, but I wouldn't know where to begin if I started lessons.. I'm pretty much self taught as well, I did get a beginning start in a really bad guitar class in grade 11 (1st semester, it was a grade 10 class and it sucked bad). I'm now movin into grade 12. I only learned most major and minor chords, and a couple of major scales (along with really bad songs I had to learn from those scales which weren't fun at all to memorize). So yeah, all I've ever done since is learn songs I liked, and that's where I am now.. lost lol and don't know where to go.

well i use one of these hal leanoard books, it takes you through learning individial notes on the strings, chords and combo notes and chords, so its a good way for my fingers to start learning the coordiantion it takes, and i also believe that playing bf2142 everynight is also helping improve my coordination with the notes as well. but yea, most guys i met that are good say they learned by just playing on their own

 The only way you will improve in hand coordination is doing hours and hours of exercises on the guitar lol

LOL yeah i remember having to learn WTSGMI in my crappy guitar class.. I memorized it completely for the test. It was quite disappointing. The guys I knew in the class were all panicking on test day cuz they're idiots and didn't learn the song.
