Greeting Friends of old and new!

 

 

It has been quite some time since I've been around but I thought I'd drop in to say hello and give a bit of an update.

 

After working for the local Sheriff's Department, Corrections, and armed security for the past 12 years I've finally settled into a desk job and am now working as Emergency Dispatch for the police station in my local airport. Thankfully they believe in not working us too hard so I have a bit more free time than I am used to. I do work overnights so my appearing here and there may be sporadic.

 

Also I was blessed with a bonus from my employer due to it being a profitable year and for other contributions I've made to support my fellow staff. So I decided to bite the bullet as they say, and FINALLY built a new gaming computer. I've been running on a aspire laptop for too long. And just to give some of you an idea, my gaming computer before that I used to play BF2 and BF2142 with you all had a 512mb AGP card.... so yea this is a welcome change of pace.

Welcome back! Don't feel too bad, my current rig an i5 4460 with 16gb Ram and a 1650 GPU. I mean in reality all I use it for currently is Rocksmith, 7 Days to Die, and recording music tracks. I do have my old BF rig still set up which is a i7 3370k (OCed) with 16gb RAM and a 1060 GPU that I use to act as a server for 7 Days so as not to bog down my pc.

When life decides to quit screwing with me I plan on building an all AMD rig and getting back into playing more. Maybe by that time there will be a BF worth playing.
