DEFCON
My friend let me use his MS force feedback 2 joystick under a lend/lease agreement we have and I was wondering if you guys could help me set it up to work in DC, with FF if possible. I configured it as best I could under controls but its very touchy and Im not sure I have all the axis set right.
StateCop
I am not sure but I dont think force feed works with this game...again I could be wrong.A word to the wise...I would not setup the joystick to be used with tanks, boats, or inf. For aircraft it works great. The role should be set by moving your stick the the right and left. The pitch up should be set by pulling back on your joystick. The rudder should be on the twist.I am not sure about the MS FF2 sticks but the first version has a problem with not keeping tention on the stick when a game is not using ff. I am not sure if your version is like that or not.
Luker3
If you go to Start>Settings>Control Panel, then find Game Controllers. In there try to find your joystick on the list. If it isn't there then uses one of the default ones that best describes your contoller. After this you are going to need to callbrate it. It probably will start the callabration for you, but if it doen't then you should be able to see it, while looking at the properties. You should be good to go. The little knobs on you joystick you probably don't want to mess with, but they control the axis too. So if you are in game and when you have the joystick centered and yur plane is slowly vering to the left or right, then you could screw around with the one that is above or below the stick.Good Luck! Luker3
The callbrate option is in the settings tab in you joystick properties.

Luker3
for the rudder I just use the Q and W on my keyboard. This layout of my items are Keyboard-Joystick-Mouse This way all I have to move is my hand from mouse to joystick.I have... well, I will find a pic of i and use paint to show you.
