  2. Hey Wolfy, I have a German Shepherd also. She's four years old and is one of the best dogs we've ever owned. They are so smart and seem to understand everything you say to them. Our Shepherd has had a food allergy ever since she was a puppy, so we have to cook all her food for her every week. That's quite a chore, but she's well worth it. I'm so sorry that your dog is sick. Hope she feels better really fast. Dead People
  3. I've always thought that a name should have a meaning. So, before you choose a name for the baby, look up what the name means. That way you won't end up naming your kid something that means "elbow". LOL Ex: Algernon means...mustached You could always name him Elmer which means Nobly Famous. Or maybe Randal meaning Shield Wolf David meaning Beloved Abigail meaning Father's Joy Jocelyn meaning Playful or Merry Just something to think about! Can't wait to hear what you name him/her.
  4. Didn't you say it was your "female cousins husband"? So that would be your Mom's NIECE'S husband. Right? Whew!
  5. Worm and I watched the Apprentice, too. And we agree. That was soooo rude of Randall. Guess he wanted to get all the "glory" and "fame" that comes with being the new Apprentice all to himself. Also, maybe he was worried that if he and Rebecca were both Apprentices, Trump might only hire one of them for real. Maybe he was afraid that Rebecca would get the "real" job and not him. He wasn't taking any chances. I'll bet Trump lost respect for Randall when Randall said not to hire Rebecca, also. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump hired Rebecca...NOT as an Apprentice, but for a permanent position. He seemed awfullly impressed with her.

  7. Why is that strange ripper? I told Grandma that I would get as many people as I could thinking about her and praying for her during her surgery. As an 82-year-old who isn't involved in computers or the internet world, she thought that was an amazing thing. And when people wrote and sent her their best wishes, I knew she would want to hear them. She was very touched that there were people out there she didn't know who were thinking of her and praying for her. And after the surgery, she wanted to make sure I thanked all of you for her. So thanks guys!
  8. Grandma's out of the hospital! The doctors gave her the OK to go home. My aunt is a Registered Nurse and she lives with my grandparents, so she'll be able to look after Grandma during her recovery at home. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers! I know they helped! My Grandma also wanted to thank you guys so......on behalf of Grandma, "Thank-you!"
  9. That's tough. :o Worm and I will pray you get a fantastic and stable job, whether it be for your current company or for another one. And Congratulations on your new baby! :o Dead People
  10. Well, the surgery went well. It went faster than they expected and they removed the cyst and her gallbladder without any complications. She's now in recovery and is doing well so far. Thanks guys for your thoughts and prayers! Keep them coming, she's still got a long road of recovery ahead!
  11. Thank you guys. I'm going to visit her tomorrow, so I'll have a chance to visit with her before she goes in for surgery. I have copied and pasted all your replies and will be sure to read them to her. I knew I could count on you guys. Grandma will be very touched to know you are thinking and praying for her. Thanks again! Keep 'em coming! I'll let you know how it goes.
  12. Hey guys. My 82-year-old Grandma (her name is Opal) is going in for major surgery on Wednesday Sept. 7th. She has a cyst attached to her intestine the size of her fist that needs to be removed (very tricky stuff) and she needs her gallbladder removed as well. She doesn't do well with surgeries. Her last surgery was a knee replacement last year and she ended up with a collapsed lung and heart trouble after surgery. So since there's so many of you nice people on this website, I thought I'd ask you to pray for my grandma. I told her I was going to post this thread on here and she asked me, "Would they really pray for me?" and she got all teary-eyed. She's a real sweet lady and she's pretty scared right now. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!
  13. I got to level 9, but by then I needed a break. lol. I'll have to try it again and get farther. It can be rather addicting.
