If you lowbies want to get a taste of LvL 60 with full epic gear/weapons/etc, check out the public test server going on now (details @: http://worldofwarcraft.com/ ). It allows you to make 2 LvL 60 characters on the server (the PvE public test server), of your choice. Always wanted to see what you can expect at LvL 60? Wanted to see how fun an LvL 60 Rogue is? (ganking ) it's pretty cool, but sadly very popular. Right now I've been in queue for about 30 - 40 minutes. Sadly, it's a carebear server, but many people /pvp it. We ended up getting into a Raid group and heading to IronForge. We had about 6 rogues with us, plus one Hunter who we placed in /pvp, and had him sit with the <AFK> tage on, right in the Tram entrance. Non /pvp Alliance would come out and fall for the trap, by attacking the hunter and placing themselves in the /pvp. Then about 6 rogues would gank him, haha, we did this for about an hour or two until they finally got a team of like 10 Warriors and Palis and took us out. It was a blast!

If you're Canadian, you've seen it. I don't know anyone that hasn't (Canadian). It's old actually.

I was going to say, isn't something like this big news? I was curious why it was hosted on 'free' file hosting sites and I haven't heard much about it. Perhaps it was a leak, or EA uploaded it via FTP but it slipped out sooner than expected? Dunno, I tried to install it but it wouldn't work. Guess I will wait for an official EA link.

Have you tried Xfire? (It's like MSN Messenger, but a 'gamer' version) You can try to connect through there. I added it to my xfire server list and it tells me the amount of players, my ping to the server and allows me to connect. I don't even have to open the game, it does all that for my. I bought a WingMan Extreme back when I was playing the WWII Online trial. I wanted to fly the planes and even back then the tanks required a joystick or custom settings to allow for the keyboard. Amen to that! WoW is addicting, but I didn't find it too addicting. It's heavy on time. You want to play as much as you can so you can continue to LvL. I never really found the game hard. If you have a good guild, it makes the difference. If you want to see some videos, check out http://warcraftmovies.com - To find the most popular ones, just select the 'most downloaded' tabs. If you are curious about how a certain class works, select the class. There are tons of movies and I wish I would have seen this site before I started the game. I would have done things different. Everything worked out in the end though. Undead Priest and Rogue are my favorite. Right now I am working on a Troll Hunter though. If anyone finds their way to the Eredar server (PvP) let me know.

As some of you know I am new to BF2. I was curious to know what you all use to fly. Do you use the mouse and keyboard combo, just the keyboard, or a joystick? I noticed in this game, if you have the pilot skills, you will go far. I've played a few games where a great pilot died only twice and had over 50 kills. I get frustrated often (I'm temperamental so that doesn't help ) because 85% of my deaths are mostly do to Heli missiles, plane bombs or artillery. Sometimes even 10 deaths in a row. I try to spwan out at the flag thats under attack, so that we can hold off. But when it's me vs a combat heli and a pilot that knows what hes doing and where I spawn, theres no chance in hell. (also without a clan, team play isn't always there - I remember seeing a tank drive away from the flag that was under attack and I was calling out all the troops and enemy vehicles that were in the area!) Anyway I would like to know what the best method is to learn to fly. I won't even touch one of these on a populated server as I know my team needs someone thats knows how to use it. I often make servers and host private games with staff @ FileFront, and use this time to learn. I have a joystick, but should I just learn with the mouse and keyboard (thats all I did in BF42). Thanks for the the input.

Just thought I would register to show my appreciation. I started playing BF2 only a few days ago, and the (=A=) server is by far the most 'clean' and respectful server I have seen yet. I had nothing but good times each time an (=A=) member was online and I thank you for that. I finally feel my search for a decent server to become familiar with is over! (great ping too - Is the server In Thunder Bay? ) I'm an old BF1942 player and was in a mature clan (=MM=, Metal Marines) back in the day. We ran a server and did our best to keep it enjoyable by all. It makes the game better IMO, knowing you can hook up with mature players, who are out to enjoy the game, and have fun. I look forward to spending my BF2 time on the (=A=) server, and was curious to know if you have a public vent server? If not, squad chat will have to do Look forward to the games ahead. word.
