I dont understand how that worked Mercury... I renamed my Battlefield 2142 in My Documents to 2142 and it works... as long as it works im happy... lol thanks dude.

guys my hardware is fine...my computer can definitely run it. does no one remember me back from half a year ago? sheesh. I've played over 400 hours of this game on low/med settings.. my computer may be old. but its incredibly fast and I've kept it in really good shape. I should probably start thinking about a new one tho.. Anyway, thankyou Mercury. I'll see how this works out..

it differs each time I run it. The basic jist of it is when it's in the beginning stages of loading up, (before the intros) it will quit on me and just go right back to desktop. I played this game last night with Griiim and Gamb, I dont think it has anything to do with my hardware. Nor have I downloaded/deleted/modified anything on my computer since that night. I went to bed being able to play, then woke up not.

Hey guys. hows everyone doin?.. Well, I dont know if anyone really even plays this game anymore lol but I'm having some trouble... I was able to play last night, but today, for some reason, the game crashes to desktop whenever I start it up. I click on the icon, it begins to load up, the screen goes black and then it crashes. Xfire says that I'm playing the game when I click on it, but when it crashes, it says I stopped playing. I've tried reinstalling, Mercury's sticky thing link(which by the way, I did not understand. So I guess technically if I didn't do it right, I didn't do it. ) and closing all other programs/firewalls/etc. how do i fix this?

To be honest, when I'm at a friends house and he gives me a drink in a glass. Its like a habit of mine to inspect the glass (secretly) of lipstick and stuff. I usually will just end up water-falling it. Glasses is probably more common in cheap roadside hotels that dont make enough of money to have a constant flow of plastic cups being recycled and bought. I wont even sleep inside the covers of those hotels...

I'm just making a general statement about his thinking. Since he said our servers were never populated and plays their and thought that would mean that he doesnt play on our server only because no ones ever on it. truthfully, i dont even like cod4 so I dont know why I'm like...preaching to everyone. :D

Who uses glasses in hotels? I've never even seen that. Usually in the bathroom above the sink next to the mirror, they'll have a plastic wrapped stack of plastic cups.

the reason our servers are never populated is because people like you that think the way you think: if no ones on, why would I go in? If your part of the clan I think its an obligation to get servers started and help out the clan as much as possible. Sorry I'm not even paying attention to the main point of this thread, but most of us act like we've never even heard of this...
