Benny Benassi is a beast. For me... I usually do the same thing as my brother. Roll the windows down and play it loud! It doesn't matter if I'm listening to Aphex Twin, The Chemical Brothers, Death Cab for Cutie, Protest the Hero, or even Aqua. I love the music I listen to, and I make sure other people know that. And if I'm listening to something with a good beat, I'll even dance to it. =P The only exception I can think of is when I'm making music. It's a really private thing for me; I never let anyone else listen, especially my family (why, I don't know).

  6. Hey there. I'm sure most of you don't recognize me with this name, but I'm George, Chappy's younger son. You may remember me by Amish-Satan_PunKchilD from FA. Anyhow, let me fill you guys in a little bit on what I've been doing for the past 6 months or so. This year (my senior year) I took a class at a vocational school called Summit Technology Academy; the class was called Entertainment Media Technology. First semester was all video filming and editing with software like Final Cut Pro and Motion using Mac's. Pretty fun, yeah, but the reason I really took the class was for second semester: sound production. During second semester, we learned lots of different things about sound production, ranging from simple things like the difference between balanced and unbalanced cables, to how to run a 24 channel mixer. The main part of the class, though, was the students' time to work on projects of their own. A lot of the kids that took the class are musicians, and though I never really did a lot with music before, I thought I'd take the class just to see what I was capable of. Using a program called Reason to make all of the music, and then using Digital Performer (the same program The Lord of the Rings soundtrack was made on) to things like vocals and guitar, I started creating music. And now... I can't stop! The genre of music I mainly create in is indie-electronica, or something like The Postal Service if anyone here has ever heard of them. Though, that's not all I make; I've made trance tracks, IDM (similar to drum 'n bass), and even worked a little bit on a metal song. Though I like creating all styles of music, as I said, indie-electronica is definitely my favorite to create in, and I use the artist name llc to create it. Well, now that you probably know more than you wanted to about how I came to create my music, maybe you want to hear some of it. > Here's a link for you all to my MySpace page, which contains 4 indie-electronica pieces and an acoustic track as well: http://ww.myspace.com/llcmyspace Also, if you're at all interested in the IDM style music I've done, click on my first friend on that page, Sneakier Than Intended. Let me know what you guys think if you want, or just simply enjoy the music. =P
  7. Well, if you're reading this, then I bet you've probably heard of Hyper!. Well then, I've got some pretty cool news here. See, my cousin Jordan has a team called rGc (stands for Roxxorz Gaming Center, the LAN center here that sponsors the team) that played in CEVO-A last season (record was 8-4 or something, they're good, but they just played some bad matches and had to forfeit one as well). So the other day Jordan went into IRC, and spotted a member of Hyper! in IRC. He pm'ed the guy (Shredder), and proceeded to speak with him about having Roxxorz sponsor his team. Well, the guy talked it over with his team over the course of a few days, and as of a couple days ago, Hyper! and rGc have officially merged! And get this - I'm going to get the opportunity to scrim with them! This is extremely exciting, as Hyper! is one of the best professional teams in CS:S, and this also means that when the Roxxorz hosts tournaments, they'll be able to pick up sponsors very easily due to the incredible reputation that Hyper! has in the CS:S community. Though Hyper! is automatically in for CEVO-P season 4 (they placed 2nd last year in a close match against compLexity), they're also vying for a spot in this year's CGS, and they'll be at a big qualifer in California on June 9th... and my cousin is going to be there managing them! For those of you that don't know, CGS is the Cyber Gaming Series broadcast on DirectTV. This year, Fatal1ty will be one of the announcers doing the play-by-play for the action in there. Oh, and the prize for the winners? $150,000. So, as you can see, I'm pretty excited about this, and you can bet my cousin is. Feel free to leave any comments on what you think about this. =P
