Also if you haven't rebooted since this happened check task manager to see if it's still running in the background, sometimes programs don't shut all the way down.

Not sure if this is any help Doc, I'm wondering if u had 2142 installed and if the auto PB load for that game is conflicting with your COD4 PB, if u do have 2142 installed try turning off the punkbuster A and or B in task manager, if u haven't already.

I can run it just fine with amd 3500+, 2gig 2700 ram, ati x1950 pro 256mb 500gig sata drive 1kw psu running vista, but i think it runs a little better on xp with lower end machines. As you can see i don't have a smoking rig compared to some. The only thing I have are some sound issues, thinking it might be my slower processor with vista.

I'm not real good with windows key binding, but this is what was given to me as a shortcut for a G key that will "alt-tab" me out of 2142. "C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop.scf" I'm not sure if you can just modify that to one of your other folders. I would test it for you but I am at work.

I use the G-15 and love it, I have my dsp 500 headset plugged into the back of the keyboard and have no trouble at all.
