I got the X-box really cheap just to play GTA. However, I don't have GTA yet and Gears came with the console. I've played gears on the commuter before and the differences are stunning. I find it very slow and hard to control with the Xbox controller. I just got frustrated yesterday. GTA is the answer to my woes I think.

I wanted an X box for some time. Now I have one. Is it just me or are the controls completely whacked? It's like playing in molasses! I can't get from point A to point B without wanting to throw the freaking controller across the room! Is it that the X-box enthusiasts have never played PC shooters before? Can I fix this? I really want a keyboard and mouse for my X-box 360. Any suggestions?

Hi folks. I applied to join this group because I wanted people to play ETQW with people who wanted to map out strategies. Sadly it seems that not many want to play. I know that Cod4 is awesome but don't you get tired of just running around shooting other players? :thumbsup: I'm on a lot of different servers pretty often and have not seen the armory tag in more than a month! yeah. On game shows you have to pay a super steep luxury tax on everything you win. I have friends who have won things on shows like that. One friend won a boat worth roughly ten grand. he had to pay a 2500 dollar luxury tax to claim the prize. A good deal to be sure but it's still expensive and of course you can't turn it down. So you pay. It's all a scam.

I want one!!! Can you imagine how bad ass that must be?

Tilgado. I've tried several times to get games started on the armory ETQW server but it never seems to work. Sorry, man. never anyone in there.

Hey premium. If you ever want to role out together in ETQW I'd be happy to guide you through the basics. I'm not the greatest in the game by far but I have a lot of it down. Just have to work on my aim a bit. :cool: I can show the main lines of traffic through the maps and some of the strategies that work best for a few of the classes. I'm usually on in the afternoons and anytime on Wed/thurs. I'm not sure what the time difference is between here and El Salv. Maybe an hour or two? We should friend in game. It would be easier. How's you're friends dog?

Whats up, Freefall? Yeah, Tom Waits is pretty much IT for me. I got to meet him when I was living in Nor Cal. Weird dude, but very cool. Top 5 jazz artists: Miles Davis, Charlie Mingus, Poncho Sanchez, Chico Hamilton, Charlie Parker. I studied Okinawan traditional and Japanese freestyle Karate, Aikido, and Capoeira. Hi folks! I'm new in the neighborhood and wanted to introduce myself. First off, I haven't been playing online FP shooters very long but played a few single player games and really liked them. SO...needless to say, I'm no expert! getting better though. ETQW is my current game of choice but will get into COD4 very soon. Been gaming since Atari 2600 when they came out with that really lame version of Pac-man that didn't look anything like the real arcade version. I remember listening to my dad cuss out the TV for several hours after my bedtime. Damn ghosts! More about me. I'm currently living in San Diego after moving here a year ago from Nor Cal to work at the San D Wild Animal Park as a large animal trainer and keeper. I'm a lab biologist by university training but I never really loved it and I LOVE working animals. Specially exotics animals. Currently I work three species of Rhino; African Black, African white, Indian. Also giraffes, wild African equids (horse and Ass), African pigs, and African goats, sheep, Buffalo and many different species of antelope. I love my job! I don't work cats! Don't like them. I'm a dog person. In my spare time I dig the beach, surfing occasionally ( fatal shark attack down the street from me this AM. Crazy!), martial arts, working out, movies (Classic Sci Fi, Monster, Horror, Super hero Flix), Reading. Love music! Everything from classical to jazz to Extreme Death Metal! Metal and jazz being my Favorites! If you're into either metal or jazz, def hit me up! I just saw Ministry play on their last tour. Meshuggah opened. Awesome! latin Jazz Poncho Sanchez on the 27th. COD4 is an awesome game. The single player is WAY to short. The graphics are very nice and it's hard. Especially if you turn the skill level way up. I played through the single player on my roomies comp three times. I want to play online now. I can't really say it's worth it because I haven't bought the game yet. I am considering dropping 40-50 this weekend just so I can play online.

Does COD4 have the cooperative team aspect going or do you just run around and shoot fools? I like the different classes in ETQW and the way the teams have to be balanced to complete objectives. I suppose I should just buy COD and check it out.

I want to play. This game is pretty fun. However, every time I come on most of the public servers are empty and the armory is almost always empty. Is it like this with other games or do I just have bad timing?

How's it going folks? I'm new to the online line shooter scene but I'm digging ETQW. So whats up? IS COD pulling a lot of the players away from quake wars? Haven't played COD online yet. I played through the single player 3 times though. My roommates game on his computer. Suggest I buy that for my box and go there or what? Thanks
