That is correct. I was merely pointing that unevening the teams to a 13 to 8 level so that you can all be on the same side is irritating. I agree that you shouldn't enforce clan members to be on different sides. The way I typed that didn't come out right. I had just woken up and hadn't had caffeine yet. But, when people make requests to even the teams and it takes more then 10 minutes for someone to respond because the clan members don't want to change sides, that bugs me.

Wow Okibi that is some seriously bad luck. But it sounds like you more then made up for it with some good sights. So, good for you man. Never been to Washington personally. Little too far away. But, in regards to your bad drivers, and I mean bad drivers in terms of your country, I got you beat. The town I live in (Orillia, Ontario) has the ABSOLUTE WORST drivers in existence. We have old people that drive through the front of buildings, trucks that take out houses, people get thrown from cars at random, rear ended because the other driver was talking on his cell phone, drinking his coffee or is just too dumb. I'm telling you man, 3 days in this town and you would never curse another American driver again.

This is just something I have a little problem with and I thought I would speak my mind about it. I noticed last night when I was playing that during the ps_river map the Grr clan made active efforts to ensure that all but one of them was on the same side even to the exclusion of keeping the teams even at one point (13-8). Now, I'm all for clan spirit and wanting to play together and when you're playing a tourney match you want to make sure you're at your best but let's face it people, there are some of us who right now AREN'T playing the armory server so they can practice for tournaments everytime Grr shows up. It would be nice if the teams were stacked to the point that one team has absolutely no hope of winning. I believe it sets a bad example to any players who may be new to the server or new to the game. I don't know if anyone agrees with me but hey, just thought it was something that I'd throw out there.

Well, it's a while ago for me but I think I can think back that far. My first nick that I played with was back in the days of CS b6.5, and I used the name Ares as I was also a Greek Mythology fan as well as a Xena and Hercules tv series fan and I thought the guy who played Ares (Kevin Smith) was an absolute howl. So, I used that name in every game that I played up until earlier this year I think. I was watching a program on the special forces of the world and remembered something a recruiting officer told me once about the Canadian special forces, the JTF 2's. He said something to the effect that they are the 3rd best in the world for special forces next only to the British SAS and the French Foreign Legion. So, being Canadian I thought that was pretty cool so I adopted the name JTF 2. I was even more dedicated to the name when I was playing CS one day and I came across a clan that uses the tag [JTF 2] and one of their guys absolutely snapped on me because he thought I was impersonating someone in his clan. So, I explained in less then polite words that I had no desire to join his clan or be associated with them in any way and that he could take a long walk off a short cliff. I've had this name ever since. Dandy of a question though dude. I've often wondered myself how people come up with their names.

I play baseball along with my martial arts as well as I do some theater on the side. I find that when I'm sparring is the worst for me too as my FA nature comes out but during my kumite sets and what not I'm so at peace. Baseball is the same way, just raw adrenaline. Feels great. I'm currently in Shoin-Ryu Karate and I've also done the Japanese style of Jiu-jitsu along with Korean Hapkido.

Dude, believe me when I tell you that nothing you say and do comes close to how mad I get sometimes. I've been around since 2.0 or 2.1, and I have broken things at times. One of the main reasons that I have a martial arts class 4 nights a week is so that I can have some sort of release. I try and play as much as possible, usually a couple of hours a night but it's tough between all the games I have. But, believe me, when I ain't talking on my mic, be thankful. You should hear what I am saying in the privacy of my own home. I'm a lot better with my vulgarity now then before because I realize a lot of you kids are playing nowadays so I gotta watch it. But trust me man, you haven't freaked until you throw someone through a wall (I did!).

Oh, ok, my bad...I think I'll spend some time running through the sub-directories of this site and see what is where. Thanks for pointing that one out Gator.

I had an idea that might be nice. I saw it on one of the CS servers that I play on on their clan website. It's something similar to a server tracker in a way. It allows you to view who is currently on the server, what your ping to it is, and also it allows you to connect to the server straight from the website. Just a thought.

I personally don't think any of this is a ploy for attention whatsoever. I was diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder when I was in my early teens. Bi-polar is also known as Manic Depression. I know all too well what Mazor is feeling. Just reading that thread was almost enough to put me in tears. Very few people can understand what it feels like to constantly hurt inside and never be able to properly express it. My deepest sympathies go out to Mazor for what he is going through and having the strength to at least identify there is a problem and try and pull through it. A BIG shout out to Shadowman for what he did. You may have changed the course of someone's life. If Mazor could ever get this message somehow, I want to let him know that if he ever needs advice on anything that he may be dealing with or simply someone who will understand what he's going through, I'm here for him. Iw ill go as far as if he needs me to call him I will. I must say that of all the strange things I have seen in my life, such as the inside of a crypt, a guy get thrown headfirst through my wall, having a glock 40 special pointed at my head and being hit on by 3 heavily armed chick cops, that by far was the single most disturbing thing I have seen in a long time. Definitely life altering. But damn funny dude.

Actually, I was talking to Mazor on another server while we were playing sometime last week I think and he was saying that there are considering making FA for HL 2 or at least something similar.
