  1. Mercury I definitely feel your pain and am really sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful dog. My own dog died of heart failure this past July at the age of 6. Just remember to cherish the memories and years of love that you had with her. From experience I can say that Dallas might take awhile to recover depending on their personality. My dog died at home so the other two dogs could smell him and realize that he had gone. Our one dog became very depressed for awhile and wasn't herself. Just remember to give Dallas lots of extra loving.
  2. Just figured that I would tell you all that although I won't be able to be on the cal team that I might be able to at least help you guys out with practice, getting ready to compete, and whatnot.
  3. Personally I think fun maps should be played only occasionally and only if the majority if the people in the server also want to play on it. I know that personally when I jump on and look for a server to play in I check for de maps and generally look for the more common of maps. If your looking to get players into the server play on the 'normal' maps dust2 and aztec are my recommendations.

I've decided to maybe try and play some BF2 this weekend so look for me on Friday/sat/sun if you want to see some epic failure.

Okay so I just wanted to post up something about some of the 'new' old maps that we have...mainly because I can't actually play Cs:s right now and need something to do. Anywho...maps like vertigo, estate, and oil rig are the maps I am talking about. These are old maps that 1.6 players will (hopefully) remember fondly and for those who don't know these old maps give them a chance. These are great maps and tons of fun once people get to know them. Plus of course it helps to have a full server to play in. The old maps are also nice to have if only to switch up the variety of maps and not constantly be playing the same rotation. I love dust2, aztec, and office as much as the next person but, like anything, it's nice to have something new thrown in now and then. Switch it up! If you have admin don't just switch it to the map though...try to throw up a vote for several different maps and give people a say in the matter. There's nothing worse than one person picking the map for everyone. If you don't know the map and feel really uncomfortable fly around in spectator view and get a general feel for it and then jump in and have some fun with it! Who cares if at first you completely suck at the map and can hardly get a kill, it will humble you to remember what it's like to be a complete newb! hahah jk. And that's really all I have to say about this. Hopefully we'll see some these maps being played and gather a group of regulars that play in our server so it's not always just Armory people. lol Anyone else have any opinions on the new maps? Love them, hate them?
