well ty for the kind words. you are right about my style. i attack everything head on. i never hide or try to catch people not looking. i am from the old school of FA rushers who believe in just mowing people down. i believe in the theory that my aim is better than yours. if i aim correctly i will beat you everytime despite whatever movement you try and use. guys who use movement alot can never aim beyond a foot. they spray the famas and other guns so it takes a full clip to kill people. i always try and kill people with the least amount of bullets possible. its why i burst fire the famas on full auto so much. you can get multiple kills per clip. in 2.5 my record was 15 kills on a single famas clip and it was not single shot. the claymores are sneaky a bit i guess but i never use them in a defensive position. i always use them offensively and on the enemies side. i matches i mainly use them to block routes. force teams to go to certain sides where my guys are waiting for them. mky is a very good example of just shutting up and playing the game. i try to go by the same belief but sometimes i am forced to open my mouth and put people in there place. i think thats why i have a bad rep with some. i dont take **** from anyone and I will tell you exactly how i feel. while this is not necessarily the best practice its just who i am. i dont hide, cheat or steal. if the sky is yello i will tell you its yellow.

first off to the others who mentioned my name please dont compare me to people like PoP, deo, frost, and andross. these guys never had half the skill and its really insulting to me and other all time greats of FA to be listed with these clowns. deo i dont know personally so i will apologize to him for this since i do not know him other than his FA skill. i know this sounds conceited but it really is insulting to see those people mentioned next to me. bounty hunter i was owning in FA long before i ever became a coder, cd team member or FAL admin. in 2.5, where i really became known, i never changed a thing in my config at all. the only thing since then that i have changed in my config was my rate settings. i do this to get the best network performance i can with FA. does it help with registration? yes but not even close to the degree that some here think. bottom line its like tek said, aim is aim. i have always been a solid gamer in other games. its just i decided to devote myself to FA for these last 6 years. one thing you said is right bounty hunter, i am an exception. if not for my level of skill and how long i have been at this level its the time i have devoted to this game through practice, leagues, and matches. as for the love goss hate goss sides of the FA community those who know me and have played with me can tell you what kind of person i am. i am a very simple person in regards to people in FA. approach me as a man and with rational conversation and you get the same in return. approach as a stupid kid with some agenda and you get treated as such.

sharp and everyone i have already given the REAL reasons of what actual happened. alex can think whatever he wants. i gave a huge post on the POP forums explaining everything. bottom line nothing illegal was done. we have already talked with recon gamer and vbulletin and valve on the issue. 100% confirmation from all parties that nothing illegal was done, which we already knew. bottom line we had the go ahead to take FA over to source and at the last minute caspar (original FA creator) backed out of support and decided to leave it up tot he current FA team. as you can imagine i am very pissed and upset. 4 months of work now for nothing. those that think with an open mind and dont believe the crap the FA team feeds you ( and has been fedding you for years) will take the time to find out the truth. i can assure you all of this nothign illegal was done at all and nothing would have ever been done unless caspar gave permission for it over 4 months ago. that is why when caspar took away his approval i stopped any further development for FA source. even though i can still legally take the code over without his permission i will not do so. sorry to those who still enjoyed the forums but honestly this was going to happen no matter what. FA didnt die and nothign has really changed. the only thing is the FA forums no longer exist but i think most of us will agree thats not something will we miss.

frost grow up you idiot. no one messed up a damn thing. go make and use some more online cheats and pretend to be good. that will show everyone. or go make another forum post about retiring and crying to everyone. oh wait you cannot do that anymore. thank god for small wonders.

thats basically it. alex and hit butt buddies have been trying to kill this mod for awhile. they are pissed to hell that it will continue and that the forums ended not on there terms but on ours. i guess some people will never learn. its the same reasons why FA went down hill in the first place. a piss poor team running a wonderful mod straight into the ground.

absolutely correct fat man. we had no intention of giving anyting to anyone other than ben, since he is the one who owns the domain and vbb license. we locked the forums out and were waiting and you know the rest. sorry this happened this way but it was going to be gone anyway. we wanted to have the forums up for everyone to continue to enjoy but that just didnt happen. FA:source will now begin.

the forums were taken over because we wanted to leave the data up until we got the word from its owner, ben. once recon gamer turned over the access to us we could have just deleted everything and be done with it. we decided to go another way. swat and scav can say and think whatever they want. have them call recon gamer. they will tell them the same thing. this is a done deal and over with. you guys were losing the forums no matter what. we wanted to keep them up longer but unfortunatly that didnt happen. now its time to move forward with FA:Source.

nothing was moved against anyones permission. recon gamer owns the ftp and webserver. they can give it to whoever they want. nothing from the FA site/forums would be used for source anyway. no data was stolen or moved. everything is still on it and ready for transfer if the old FA team decides request it. next silly question? just because alex has a fit and makes some long stupid post with no facts and claims legallity issues does not make it so. alex actually has no legal right to anything. ben owns the vbb license and domain name. alex can cry about it all he wants.

this was always the plan for us (the fa source team) i had received permission from the original FA team months ago to go ahead with source and use the name. we wanted to keep the forums but the old fa team didnt want that. so when recon gamer was ready to change access we locked the forums and left them up for people to view. the fa team through a fit and you have what you have now. this was always going to happen. it just happened sooner and not very smooth. the end result is still the same. sorry if you dont like it.

Well let me start off by saying the all the "children" comments is exactly what i expect from alex and many of you. Nothing was done to attack shut down or destroy anything. Simple facts. Recon gamer has decided to remove all access to the old FA team. They will no longer be hosting anything for them. Legally the only thing that is owned by ben is the domain name firearmsmod.com and the vbb license which have since been moved. We wish the move could have been smoother but some factors conflicted with this and led to the mess now. Recon gamer has turned over all ftp access to the Firearms source team which will use the site for FA source. you will be reading alot of crap written and many lies told about this whole situation. The above is the facts and I hope you all can support FA source in the future. Please enjoy the rest of FA on the HL 1 engine. funny you say that. i did make the mg's and ak's stronger in 3.0. and the famas damage WAS NOT increased in 3.0. its the same as it was in 2.9.

you guys are hiliarious. we could make the famas fire little bang flags and you guys would still complain about it. the famas is fine in 3.0.

why would we allow those people to be testers? they cannot be trusted and they are all banned from 3.0 anyway. (except atma) the biggest problem that past test teams have faced is having a final version and at the last minute certain FA team leaders changing things without telling anyone and then just releasing. not even allowing hte test team to test the actual installer files. dont worry, if someone comes up i will have a patch out instantly to correct it.
