Hello Armoryites I have managed to crawl out of the hole I fell into many (7?!) years ago, and built a new computer. What's New? These forums certainly are to me. It looks like you guys play Battlefield 3 is it worth playing? Im looking for some new games to waste my time with. Any suggestions?

I've been playing Insurgency quite a bit the last few days, and i havent seen any real huge balance issues or spawncamping at all. Mostly im playing on 32 player servers tho, I can definately see it being an issue in smaller games where you just dont have enough players to defend all the side alleys and multiple routes there can be. Alloting for a learning curve with the players actually finding out where the cap points are might keep them from running ahead and hitting respawns before points get capped as well. So far i like it, its a nice distraction

Option #3 should be changed to: Obviously in denial about being option #1 Huge sports/computer geek myself. Frankly, I think I may be sick with SUPERBOWL FEVER!!!! And yes, contrary to the results of another Armory poll, I am not yet dead, just busy. =D

Spent the past few days there REALLY wishing I had a digital camera. Through Phoenix, up to the Grand Canyon, returned to Phoenix through Flagstaff and Sedona. Absolutely beautiful country there. Lucky for me friends did have cameras, so when i get the pictures, ill find somewhere to post em for everyone to see. :peace: I saw sunset and sunrise at the south rim of the canyon, completely in awe at the wonders of nature. I could have spent a week there just hiking around or through the canyons, it is just amazing. Only could spend a few days, nobody could get time from work. Sedona was pretty cool too. I need to make a trip like that again sometime.

Welcome back! Nobody ever really leaves. As ever-changing as the Armory is, there always is an opportunity to return to playing here!

Thanks for reminding me that I wanted to rip some more CD's! I have individual playlists of each album and one giant list with every song on it ordered by artist/album. Took me forever to sort but I like listening to them in order. Now I just cant move the location of the files Currently listening to Green Day - Kerplunk album while I edit filenames and tags

ok in that second room there is a valve on the pipes, turn it water fills all the rooms. go back to 1st room, down ladder and swim thru. Look at bottom of 3rd room for your way out :DIt took me a while to figure out too

OK I just downloaded it and ran around by myself and it looks GREAT. Can't wait to play it on a full srever! Lots of ways to go, VERY interesting indoor areas with great lighting, and actual clip brushes in a FA map OMG!!! Overall an awesome job!Yes, the spawns seem too close to objectives, and I guess this is true of any FA map with open air reapawns and objectives, but artillery lamer + unadmined server = massive spawnkills and caps. Thats something to think about if you rework the spawns to be further back, give the sd_ objects some cover to make them harder to cap and a +1 rein boost, maybe in blue area inside a boxcar like the one that has the open door, and the red area ins't a big deal to cover and add lights. Also 2 other things to pick on :)1- What's with the walk-through vent covers??? It freaked me out when they wouldnt break. I was like "DIE VENT DIE #$*" and shot 70 clips at it LOLOL 2- Clip brushes over the boxcars. Make sure they match the edges of the cars, or a little over them, and PLEASE extend them all the way to the sky, they are very short and easy to get on top of. P.S. Random has NO SKILLS Sprint jump from the stair railing and you're on the box easy

Well the same goes for me then. No matter what the price is, I have neither the time to play or the money to justify a monthly fee. Better to have nice stuff for myself than my Elf But I guess that is the point. Why waste server bandwith and space saving players for someone who plays once a week.
