Hi all! Good to see that TAC is still the same friendly group of guys and gals from when I left. I came to give Deadroach his early Christmas present. BF2142 pre-load from EA DL services He did buy my C&C Generals for my birthday awhile back... so what better way to pay him back then to let him DL the game tonight and have it sitting on his HD, waiting... to play the second it is enabled tomorrow. *giggle* I'm not evil... I'm playful

Truth is, there is no such thing as time, it's just our monkey flesh perception describing the universe... well, acording to rational scientists anyways. :peace: Watching a ball bounce visually or describing it with a math equation in real time is the same thing... a translated description for your brain as to what is really happening... basically you'll never actually "know" thanks to your obcenely poor conscious bandwidth and it's 1/2 second lag behind real time. I guess the best way to describe the article is to say that the light is "stretched" so it hits the end of the cable faster, but it still takes the same amount of time for the entire "beam" to completely travel the distance. As for light that travels faster then light... well, things wiggle, and then go back to normal... there are lots of theories to make light travel faster then light, mainly in magnetic and plasma physics, and, of course, there is always the stranger (and more interesting when backed with real science)things out there people say, like a Dr. Chaos kind of entropy where light traveling in 4 space would temporarily interceded back into our 3 space at FTL. The said "wiggle" that then goes back to the collective norm.

Or maybe my brain already goes this fast, which explains why Deadroach can be point blank behind me in CS:S, shoot me in the back, and I can still turn around and kill him before I go down. *poke poke poke*

What was truly sad was seeing all the rubberneckers on the highway. Yeesh, as if it wasn't bad enough that it was rush hour, but having yahoos stop at the side of the road to stare? That is pretty embarrasing behavior by my fellow Canadians.

Heh, Back when I was a kid at Ramstein and Lahr AFBs, they had a "Hunter" rotation where personell were aloud to take turns to go out and shoot up Pheasants. Win win sitution, the air field stays clear, and people had something nice to bring home to the family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of London and England... this sucks. Was speaking with my brother today (Canadian Military) and they're all pissed that they can't be doing more to help prevent this kind of crap.
