Just a little movie clip I made while fooling around; not really worthy of a thread but I thought some people might enjoy it. I probably get one every 2-3 hours of playing, but I'm usually too lazy to fraps them at the time so this is the result of 2 month's random frapsings. Enjoy.

Instructions: To get the crosshairs superfine as in the screenshot, you have to use the included userconfig, or add the lines in it to your own userconfig. You can change the binds to you're liking, but once you are in game, you need to hit the spriteblend 1 bind. The sniperscopes are basic, they are better looking after hitting the spriteblend 0 bind. The whole trick to getting the crosshairs to look nice is having gl_spriteblend 0 in your userconfig when the game loads up, and then putting in the console or by use of a bind gl_spriteblend 1. Most of the scopes look better with gl_spriteblend 1 off in game, however, so it is useful to have the binds. If you have problems getting the 'gl_spriteblend 0' line to 'stick' in your userconfig, set it to read-only. There are also a number of extra crosshairs included in the folder, which are documented in the thread image. To switch between them simply uncomment the line and comment the current line (add and remove the //). The last one is the '5th' extra one, and two up from that one is the 3rd and so on. The trick to getting this to work is in essence using doublethick sprite files, and tricking the engine into making it an actual 1 pixel on the screen by tweaking how spriteblend interprets the sprites. I'd also like everyone to realize that I'm giving my own hard work / discovery and hours of messing around and making all this stuff out for free. Not only am I doing it all for free, but I'm doing it at a severe cost to my own advantage, even to certain jerks in the community. I hope you can all appreciate that. Enjoy, and remember. If you have a problem with being unable to kill Mr.D when you spawn, instead of bitching about him on the forums, perhaps you should learn to aim. If I spawn on force and D is there, that's either a fast kill for me, or a fast death THEN a fast kill. If he can kill you more than once while you can just instantly spawn and continue shooting him, then you just suck, and shouldn't come on the forums and ***** about him 'interfering with gameplay'. Period.

FAL is in the middle of the season. Nobody is 'best in FAL' yet, and the only criteria to say anything in regards to FAL would be former championships, of which RDS has none. If you have won 2 or 3 championships (S^D) or if you are the reigning champion (K1). Then you can say something. As you said, see you in FAL. Attitude towards non 'clanner' players on the mic in a pub is just juvenille.
