Hello, I’m happy to see this forum is still around. Had many of good times hanging out here. I hope life is treating you all well. I have way more than I deserve. My oldest Daughter is in Medical school and my youngest is a junior in high school. Both are doing extremely well and I couldn’t be prouder.

It's insane. My buddy went through $10,000 in a month. Not just on meth, he got into xanax too. Meth keeps you awake for days, so the Xanax was to help him sleep. Viscious cycle, he said Xanax withdrawals were pretty bad. He is still going to meeting everyday and I text/call him every morning to make sure he knows he is not alone and he has people that care about him. He says just knowing that others believe in him helps him a lot. You're right, I'm glad I've never had something have a hold on me like that. It has to be a horrible feeling.

I was looking for this poem because a friend I have been riding/racing quads with for the last 5 years decided to go back to using this shit after being clean for 9 years. It's bad stuff for sure. He is back in rehab now. It just sucks to watch your buddy throw their life away and there is nothing you can do to stop them. Sorry for the bringing back such an old post. Who knows, maybe someone on here needs to read it.

Just thought I would stop by and say Hello to all my old shoot em up buddies. I hope all is going well with you and yours. I just got a new quad and started racing. So far I have Three Second place finishes and one sixth place. Here are some pictures of my ride. 09 YFZ450R http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa289/onedsob/YFZ450R/DSCF7490.jpg http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa289/onedsob/YFZ450R/DSCF7491.jpg http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa289/onedsob/YFZ450R/DSCF7492.jpg http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa289/onedsob/YFZ450R/DSCF7493.jpg

  15. Yes the weather was great 70 for highs and low 40's for lows. Yes there are dunes in Midland Odessa, actually its Kermit but Glamis is the Mecca of Sand Dunes, so thats where we decided to go. It was just over 1300 miles one way, took us 21 hours to get there and 22 to get back. But over all it was definitely worth it. If I had the time off and the means to do it again, I would load up tonight and head out there again.
  16. Thanks Deli, I would be on here gaming with you all every night like old times, I just have a lot on my plate at the moment. I just took a new job with the same company and have a lot of work ahead of me. I am an Instructor now. lol I can't believe I am actually going to teach people how to work on airplanes. Anyway this trip was the first for me in many years. It was great to not see a T.V. or the internet for 5 days. It was so much fun. I could never explain how awesome that place is. It's just something you would have to experience for yourself to understand.
