New TAC Logo Assets
Some of my stuff: http://www.doomsdaywarriors.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=177&c=13 http://www.doomsdaywarriors.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=184&c=13 http://www.doomsdaywarriors.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=182&c=13 http://www.doomsdaywarriors.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=1859&c=13 http://www.doomsdaywarriors.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=1881&c=13 So as you can see - I am nowhere near your level of expertise here.... Got some tips on how to get from "good" to "eye-popping-jaw dropping-awesome" ? I learned alot of my stuff from the Scott Kelby "Tips and Tricks" - I own every issue from PS6 on up. Also the WOW book for PS6 - haven't found them for later versions. Got any recommendations?

New TAC Logo Assets
Simply wow! Great stuff Tallen! I've been using Photoshop since 4.0 and actually thought I could do some decent stuff - but looking at your artwork is a very humbling experience. So did you use anything other than Photoshop for these images? I saw that you also use other programs as well but I mean for these logos in particular(?).

Katrina fundraiser
This thread can be closed. After about a week after we started this, I heard so many reports of fraudulent fundraising sites, I decided to just stop taking donations and forwarded the money I had already received. Instead, I've change the Donation link on my page to donate straight to the RED CROSS. After all - it doesn't matter HOW you donate, as long as you DO. :peace:

We've modified the goal to $2000 since it seems more realistic. If you're able to participate, please do. Thanks!

is bf2 worth the 50 bucks?
Make sure you are actually trying to connect to "Battlefield 2 Demo" servers, and not regular servers. I'm not even sure if there are any Demo servers left out there since the fullversion is out. If you can't find servers to play on, definitely give the single player version a try. It's well worth it and the bots are actually pretty good. You can still confuse them pretty easily - but their aim is better than on some of these pub servers. If your issues are technical - what are your hardware spec's?

is bf2 worth the 50 bucks?
The game is definitely worth the money. Although - we're starting to get a "gripe list" put together that addresses some of the things we miss or could do well without: 1) Server Browser... - seems like DICE forgot everything they did "right" in BF42 and BFV. No Fav list, no buddies etc - and extremely buggy 2) Teamkill feature. Both good and bad. It's good that smacktards are being punished, but it's a clear case of good technology vs stupid players. People should step outside of their comfort zone at times to actually "forgive" TK's if they are clearly accidental. That's what the system is designed to let you do. Everyone just seems to take a TK personal, regardless if it was unintentional or not. Things like driving over friendly mines, ignoring Commander warnings about pending arty strikes, or jumping out of or in front of moving vehicles should count as Darwin's Law (or Suicide) - and not TK's. 3) Ranked vs Unranked - what the hell was EA thinking? There are clearly more privately owned servers out there than the overpriced EA ranked ones. One could simply "boycott" this monopoly, but realize that if one of these rank jockeys enters your non- ranked servers and applies for Commander, he will get first dibbs due to his ranking status. The only other option is to disable the Commander mode and cut out about 50% of the fun. 4) Name changes - changing your name in BF2 means you start from scratch with your rank. Rather than tying your persistent profile to your email address like steam does, or create a cd-key/pb hash like they did in BF42 1.6 - they chose the game Nick of all things to dictate your profile. This of course impacts people when joining, leaving or switching clans. Not very smart. 5) Modern warfare. Sure we got a bunch of cool new stuff like the squads and commander mode, but where are all the cool new features we we're looking forward to, like the laser guided missles and the repelling out of helo's? In return we gave up the music in vehicles (BFV) and the ability to drive ships and submarines. Give and take I guess - but I'm a little disapointed that these great ideas got waxed. While I clearly like this new game - and I am sure I'll be playing it for quite some time - I don't see this great "gaming revolution" that everyone is so hyped about. To me it feels like a cross between DC and BFV, and not like a whole new engine. I mean, I don't mind drinking the coolaid, but sometimes I need to come up for air :peace:

New BF2 Gaming Community!
Guess who? The Doomsday Warriors have officially given up clanning and have converted the site and all of our efforts moving forward to providing a BF2 Gaming Community. Our main focus, aside from the game itself, will be a forum where clans can sign up and recruit new members, advertise their teams, server, home pages etc. A future project of ours will be to start a Doomsday League - which will offer an alternative to CAL and STA. Help us get started! Stop by the site, register and contribute heavily to the content :peace: - We're trying to get the word out...

Firearms Forums (News comment)
I didn't say there are no IP's banned. There are plenty of IP's banned. I said there weren't any IP "ranges" banned. But that wasn't true either - I just looked it up and there is ONE range banned = "64.139" - so any IP that has those two octetts as a prefix is S.O.L..That doesn't apply to Schultz or Tigerhawk though since they have different IP addresses entirely.Tigerhawk - Do me a favor . I assume you are running XP? Open your command prompt (START/RUN/ type "cmd" / ENTER) and in the command prompt type /ipconfig /allI wonder if you have more IP's than just the one you gave me.
