Hope that got your attention lol. Well, I'm planning on moving stateside from england sometime this year. Been trying to find out info on stuff. I don't want move there to just work, I'm looking at moving there to live and spend my life there. I know there are visas and so on, but I want to know other things that might help like, do this and it'll help or, you should have this etc. This isn't just some brit whim btw :thumbsup: I've been thinking about it for a few months now and really just want help from all you Americans that might know something lol.

Not been a great day for me today. Grandmothers got altziemers and parkinsons and shes been in and out of hospital for most of 2006. We put her into a residential home in November because there was no way we could watch her 24/7. Well, this morning we got a call from the home saying we need to go in ASAP. When we got there she was not in a good way. She was asleep, but very restless. We have been told she has a chest infection and it was my job as her attorney and next of kin to decide wether or not to put her in hospital. Was the hardest decision, but I had to choose not to put her in hospital because quality of life is more important than quantity and it's not for sure she would recover from the chest infection. Was there all day until I had to pick the little on up from school. So I decided to take her to see her great grandma one more time to say goodbye. That was the second hardest thing I've had to make in my life. How do you really tell an 8 year old girl that her grandma, who she loves and who loves her back, will not be around after a day or 2? After I finally got through explaining how her grandma was going to go to heaven soon and she will be with her mum and husband and all her pets, I don't think I've ever cried so much as I did today with that little girl in my arms. When we were on the way up to see her I got called by mum saying grandma was put on Valium and would be on Morphine during the night. So when we got to the room I explained that grandma was just sleeping and she will sleep until she took the trip up to heaven. I stayed there for another hour and let Jessica say all her goodbyes and I love yous and it just broke my heart. I just got off the phone about 10 mins ago and shes still alive, but nobody is sure if she will last the night. I thought I'd post this now just incase my actions, or lack thereof, in the next few days is kind of off and because I thought my "family" would like to know :thumbsup: . Now I'm just going to wait for a call for the next hour until I decide to go to bed. I'll keep you all informed if anything happens.

I've not really been around much for a while and now I can explain....I've been getting things sorted out so I can move back to England with my gf and daughter at the end of February. What that means is at the end of Feb I will not be playing or talking like I used to. Once my job and house gets all sorted out then I'll sort out my computer and net connection so I can get back on and play and chat. I will be checking the forums from a friends computer while I'm there so I wont be completely out of touch. So for the next month I will be trying to play as much as a I can so all of you don't forget me . And that's exactly what I'm going to do now. See you on the battlefields

I'm going to England to see family from 23rd to 2nd. Going to be fun because I haven't had christmas in England for about 4 years now.

I voted depends because it depends if the base is capable or not. I was on a european server this afternoon and they had a rule of no base camping the non-capable bases apart from the demo the arty and the like. Seemed to work fine, but they had a few admins there just to police it. It's got it's up and downsides.

Sorry, but I don't have any near future plans to buy bf2. What with the cost of everything plus going to england it means I'm kinda broke for a few months (love stuff on credit, but it still costs )

I've just moved into my new place, got the internet setup and furniture sorted out. I'm looking at living in this new place for about a year or move into a bigger place (depends if I get that 7k payraise I've been promised). This means that I'm living by myself which can only mean one thing...you've guessed it...lots and lots of gaming

I for one don't believe it was the IRA. They normally target individuals (doctors, MPs, and the like) and they own up just as it happens. The thing that worries me more than anything is, was this just a warning and now they're going to move on to another country? or is it just the beginning of another 911? 7 explosions in 7 different locations on the first day of the G8 summit in Scotland. I don't find this a coincidence either. All this "lets kill innocent people to get a point across" crap just annoys the hell out of me. It makes no sense. I'll stop now before I start to write a 20 page essay

I got told this by a friend and confirmed it by speaking to family and looking on www.msn.co.uk and www.news.bbc.co.uk There's been a series of explosions in Central London during rush hour. Well I finally got internet. It seems to work fine for now I might come on vent and CS:S tonight if I'm not too tired.

Just a "I'm still alive" post. Got the internet on Friday...along with some problems. Me and my ISP have been working on getting them fixed so it should only be a matter of days. Woohoo!!!!

I'm still alive!!! Life's getting back to normal, internet should be at the new apartment at the end of the month (don't ask why it's taking so long because I don't have a clue), computer will be moved to the new place when I get internet. Haven't been around much due to work and life. I will keep in touch a little bit, but not much till I get internet. Have fun and keep fragging!
