I love free stuff

Don't let me fool you guys into thinking I have a new sound card or something, no, what I do have however is a new speaker setup. I recently acquired some huge Realistic Mach One stereo speakers (for free) and a pair of EPI stereo speakers (free). http://www.audiokarma.org/gallery/data/519/191MACHI.jpg (that's a 15" subwoofer, to give some perspective, total one cabinet is about 3' high) I thought to myself, hmm, how could I use these properly. So I hooked them up to a vintage Technics stereo receiver I've had gathering dust for a while (free) and purchased an adapter ($5, the most expensive part). Now I've got my machine literally pummeling me with amazing sound whilst I pwn n00bs in 2142. I'll see if I can't get pictures soon, now my computer desk looks like a cockpit or something. Anyways, had to brag a bit as I did manage to get the chicks who live above me to complain about the bass as it was moving their shtuff (I'm in a dorm so unfortunately I can't have the setup reach its full potential). on another note, how come the servers are down? Is it just me?

I had the same thought myself a few days ago and saw exactly the same thing, I'd really like to see this moved to source, the original was amazing. While I was on their site I was ethically required to re-download the original NS so I've been playing that a bit.

I still play, more so lately cause I'm gearing up for a LAN on the 30th ($450 cash prize) so me and my friends have been practicing. Yeah, if you name a server I'll be there.

As a prank, a kid at a high school near me replaced all the legit ones in a hallway with the fake ones... took like a week for the administration to notice hilarity ensued.

Unfortunatly all I have now is a '96 Buick Regal Custom, 65k miles, cd player (the option for the car, not some third party player), leather interior (maroon), maroon exterior, remote locks, power windows, all that jazz.... but it no longer has a front right headlight (the whole fixture is gone, not just a bulb) due to a car accident (and that corner's kinda crunched) which sucks, cause before that accident the car was in perfect condition. And I got it free (from a family member).

Ya, I blew my money on HL2 though... Course, I don't even think this comp could handle BF2... HL2 really had this thing working overtime and it's pretty impossible to play CS:S when there's more than like 5 people on the server.

Hey all, just kinda sayin ahoy, it's been a while since I've been here, lotta stuff been goin on. Moved out to college now and stuff, so there's some catching up to do. Is FA still available anywhere, I have a new PC now and I didn't bother to get that when I updated my Steam and now I can't find a download for the original anywhere. I'm assuming people still play it?

So, I'm graduating soon and my parents have already told me that my graduation present is gonna be a laptop for college. Now, my dad's pretty computer savvy (he's a software engineer) and knows what he's doing, but he's also partial to Dell. I was just wonder if a)that's a bad thing and b)what are some reccomended laptops (not just for gaming, i need it for my classes too)

they have big PvP battles occasionally, battles between the rebel clans and Omni Tech... go Omni Tech. They're scheduled in advance, but aren't that frequent.

Sounds like most of you didn't even get past n00b island right in the beginning. This was probably your problem, n00b island is quite boring and it doesn't look nearly as spectacular as the mainland of Rubi-Ka. It did take me a while to get into this game but now I'm a level 9 engineer and it's frickin awesome. At least there's no turn-based combat, blech. You can't get a feel for the game only playing it for half an hour, and it doesn't take that long to get good. I've been playing like 2 day's and I'm already pretty decent. It helps when you have friends playing so you can go on group quests, those are fun.

There's only two days left in the Anarchy Online special. If you sign up before the 15th you get a year of AO free (excluding expansions). Now I had never played AO before, in fact, i've never payed for an online game before, but I figured "A year free? I might as well" and let me tell you, once you get the hang of how the game works it's awesome. I suggest you guys sign up if you're into MMORPG's. For those of you who sign up, my characters name is Pirateninja.

Not true, many cost around 35K, clost but that leaves 5K for mods on an alweady sweet car. Also, you are assuming your car cost you nothing and therefore 40K of mods would be a correct balance... riiiiiight... in that sense if I plunged 40K worth of mods into the Impreza it would beat anything... if it's possible to put 40K worth of mods on an Impreza. Your car had to cost something and the price difference would then again have to be calculated in mods to my car, still ensurin it's pwnage of yours. Plus, I'd think getting a new car would be better than putting 40K worth of stuff into a piece of crap...for furthur reading

1996 Buick Regal. Not mine in the picture but pretty much exactly the same except that it's red, not tan (same condition even). Still in great shape, only 50,000 miles on it. Powerful engine, Leather (and power) seats, CD player, dual driver/passenger climate controles, remote lock and trunk, BF Goodrich tires. It has a retro kind of look, which has been going around. Personally I like it, maybe it's because I've seen a number of shirts like that so I have an idea of what it looks like in full but I also think the color goes well.... I mean YAR!
