Yeah i kinda dissapeared... Me and my old lady didnt have net for a while.. then she put a jinx on my PC and it died :/ No flippy dont have bf2 yet.. need a computer first me thinks :peace: Ill be back... sometime soon hopefully unless you have an extra pc laying around I moved to NC so maybe ill have better luck here. For all of those who want to use the seperate channels and dont have a clue how and dont want to hit and miss to find out here you go.First. Put in a name for the bindings you are going to save.Now step by step:1. At the "Bindings" pulldown menu click the ->.2. On the bind pulldown menu select the function to switch channel.3. in the box to select a key click on it and press a key you want to change you to the Coalition.4. In the function info box put: "Desert Combat/Coalition Forces" Just like that but without the quotes and click add.5. Next select the key you want to switch you to oposition.6. Do the same as in #2-4 but put: "Desert Combat/Opposition Forces" Just like that but without the quotes and click add.7. Select a key you want to return you too the lobby.8. In that function box put: "Parent" Just like that but without the quotes.Now you can use those 3 binded keys to change channels just by pressing them. Know this tho. To return to the lobby you will have to hit your Parent key twice.That should do it. Now when you connect to ventrillo select the name of the bindings you saved.-Me

I liked the mod for the most part. The only things that are glaring that need fixed really really bad are crash bugs and rpgs mainly first off. for balance issues a tank should not be able to take 4 direct hits of a rps and still be trucking on like nothing happened. Also the SA3 sites are hard to use. The old ones IMO are much better. i love they way they take off drop a bit then gain speed but that should be fixed. you could make the main guided mirv like that and leave the other rocket alone for decent AA purposes. its hard enough guiding around a MIRV much less ever singel rocket like that.Also the tank zoomed in feature.. that should be optional / key oriented. I dont know about you but looking through that veiw constantly (alltho a great ideia and works well) gives me a headache as it did others. It hurts your eyes. All the guns overheating and showing bars more properly was a great thing no problems there. Most of the maps need a touch up however. Things got mixed around so where blackhawks use to spawn you have dune buggys and where apachi's use to spawn you have little birds ect. (if this is intentional why you a dune buggy on a heli pad?)love the new sound effects for all that was altered. seems there are a few compatibility issues with the maps on a dedicated server that needs to be addressed asap. with the new 1.6 patch out old bf1942 maps dont work till DC is updated, and in so the tanelorn mod can only "see" old bf modifired maps making it totaly unplayable atm.as with normal dc alot of the new guns and animations are a bit off.. like the insta reload with alot of the machine guns now. AA seems to be a bit better, the AA class can accually take out aircraft like they are soposed too.. cudos!the new araments for alot of the planes are mostly good.. the bombs that fire like missles can make bombing easier.. however the bombers with 124 hydros is a bit.... well aginst anything other then infantry or light armor kinda useless. the helos are great now. i love how it give more athority to the gunner position then just simple fireing of a machine gun. and the way the hydros and missles fire are a big plus. I also like how more of the vehicles are making an appearance in alot of the mpas with this mod. this is a good thing. The suicide bomber... YAY!OVerall i like this minimod. there are just alot of bugs that have to be wroked out. but its definately going in a good direction. If its able to continue in production i cant see why servers wouldnt use a bug free version of this mod

oh heck no. i know alot of clans that use teamspeak alot in games like this. Maybe ventrillo isnt as wide spread.. but if they didnt use some form of voice instant communications.. I dont see how they would last in CAL vs teams that did. Unless they just had really really really great radio binds.

Cant you imagine how unstoppable one team would be if we got enough of our players in ventrillo on one side and in that sides room where no one could hear us, and coordinate a battle plan when the other team would be doing normally what they do? If you could get say 10 people on one side with ventrillo and hold 2 key points with 5 people, maybe less, and have enough of a spread (EX: air cover ground cover, AA, AT, ect. ) To where you could easily outmatch a un-orginised team. I can see it happening, its just like NS or a strategey game. You hold key points of a map you win. NS was huge for strategey, if you didnt follow the commanders orders you useaually lost. Alot of times i see a team with alot of potental and i think hey we might just win. Then i see half the team surround a main static spawn and the other half roam around with the other team caps all the points, and before they notice they have allready got so behind they lost. It kinda makes me angry to know you could win so easily with a good team but not enough people will stick together. I notice alot of normal players come in and buddy up with someone and try to work like this.

You could formulate some real killer tactics for DC. The only problem I see would be getting people to follow them. I have not played in a game where at the very least half of the team wasnt 1) doing their own things, 2) flying around or driving around just to drive/fly, sit in spawn prone in a building waiting for someone to pass by(not so much but still often enough to mension) or whatnot. It just seems to me, that even when a team is getting hammered, that the people on that side will keep doing their thing if it is, or isnt helping a team. Such as, Someone flying a helo that unarmed around the map with no passengers.. Sure its fun but if your team is getting pounded how is this helping? Seriously if you want to just fly around and do stunts and tricks for the heck of it.. or just drive around doing jumps.. play around whatever, you CAN do it on your own game with bots or alone. if you want someone to talk too there is nothing stopping you from staying on ventrillo, i do it alot to practice certin things. Ventrillo is another thing, I like it, i think its great, but sometimes it gets way outta hand. If your sitting in a sweet sniper position or demo position, listening for someone or a tank to come by. and people are just chattering away for no apparent reason it makes it hard to concentrate and that makes you frustrated. I mute many many people often becaulse i cant bear it at times so i can focus on what im doing. Would be so much better if people would make binds to join diffrent channels and divide it up.
