Well Mac doesn't seem to me like we are goin to be able to do this, sorry if you actually waited for me lastnight I got cought up in some stuff at about 7 7:30 lastnight driving. God damn flat tire! So anyways, server is now shut down and I guess we can call this quits. I might just set up a dedicated server here and test it that way if I can get everything to work. ~Gilga

Hmmm.... Is there anyway that you might be able to test this out? I wouldn't mind knowing what could be causing the probelm with it crashing. I have an Idea what it might be, but it could be very doubtful if I didn't know any better. Let me know when/if we can do that. It can just be me and you doing this, I also have noticed that the Server isn't filled at all anymore.. But anyways, please help if you can before the server is dead. ~Gilga

Alright Mac, this one is for you. This is regards of your message you gave to me about version 8 crashing the server. All I want to know is was there any errors that maybe the server logs picked up? Anything that might help me with fixing this problem for version 9 will be helpful. I wish I was informed about this before I stated on 9. alright, just let me know thanks dude.

Major HL1 issues.
Hmmm, Mac you said you had a BEFSR41 right?... Well I got the same model maybe version 2 of the unit. It hasn't gone bad but I have 3 computers hooked to it and every so often I get "Network Cable Disconnected" on my task bar. It could be due to the firmware, it has been updated since I got the things. This disconnection happens more when I'm playing online games such as Firearms.. Any help?

Hey fello TA'ers and friends, I have finished my last version of cargohold. Yep, It has been along time since my last version... Bout 5 months, sorry for who have waited it out. I've been giving Mac updates on my progress, and he said he would set this puppy on the TA server. Thanks Mac and the TA gang :o . Okay, the difference between the version that was once on the server (version 6). Uh, lets see... I added in many new things from a parking garage to a new funtional gate by using the elevator. You'll just have to see thats all :o . Btw, when using the elevator now, there is no player trigger for the gates on the 1st floor and 3rd floor. You must click the red button in order to open the gates. This is nice because it will protect you while behind the gates, giving you time to plan your attack. However you can only use this button once every 60sec. Gate only stay open for 5sec's I believe. I have added in missions also, which makes game play way better. Please Note: If your looking into playing this to take a look of version 8, please PM and I will give you the Zip containing all of its files. I have to do this because I do not have hosting anymore. Let it be known, this version crashes servers, but you may play it just to check it out. Thats all, Earl E.

Well, I've been very busy on version 8. So far its going great, just about 75% done.... For the current changes from 7 to 8 go cargohold changelog v8 There are going to be 2 differen't maps.... One is the Winter one, then a spring one. Only difference is the weather and lighting.... Okay... thats it. What da' ya' think so far guys?

Okay, here is just a bit of an update on v7b: -Deleted the stupid backup reinforcements -Retextured the whole inside walls of the place -Adding new paths for easier ways to complete the missions if possible. (Testing Possible FPS problem on 2nd floor) - Hope to fix it if it exists.

Something is telling me to adjust it. I don't want people to think this map is crap over reinforcement loses. Today or tomorrow I'll start working on this, also I need to retexture somethings So Mac, I guess hold off on getting on the server. Give me a few days and I should have a v7b out. Richei, you might need to turn your cl_weather or whatever on. You can swith that from your options menu in steam.

Oh man, I remember the days on WON when it downloads used to take forever.... Now that you can have a File Server to download the maps makes it so much faster!!! I alway used to get something to eat back when WON was going... Lets see, yeah ps_rubicon is awsome... Tested that out lastnight, liked it a lot.... I didn't mess with the elevator at all in version 7, so its probably going to keep happing. I'm not sure how to fix that problem, but maybe in future like in version 8 or so, It will be fixed... There are a crap load of Enities to make this elevator go up 3 floors where and when you want it too... Took me like a week to get it to work........

Yep, you read correctly... Version 7 is complete, has been for about 5-6 days now. I have been not around to letting you guys know, but its complete.. Few new things: 1. There is a CTI mission to do. - By completing this mission you will get 10 Reinforcements, and the player that finished the mission gets 5 frags. 2. The original mission that was there, the crates, they still give you 2 reinforcements, however here is where the change is with them, you now get 1 frag per crate. 3. New textures in some areas 4. New looking red base 5. New blue spawn point. No more lower level spawn. 6. Backup reinforcements - Using these, both red and blue team will get 10 extra reinforcements, however remember this, it will take 5 frags away from your score. So, you guys as a team must deside if you want to use them or not. This feature i'm testing out, if you guys like it, say so.. If not, tell me. 7. Weather Effects And more............... Phrogg, thanks for that comment. Here is how the elevator works. First off you can only use it on the 2nd floor. I mean its the only place that it will allow you to go up or down. If your set on the 1st floor with it, there is a swirch that has a down arrow on it. If you click that, it should take you back down to the 2nd floor. Same goes with the 3rd floor, if you click the button that only has the up arrow, it will take you back to the 2nd level of the cargohold. Now, you getting stuck?... It's either your pressing the buttons on the control pannel to many times, or that someone is messing with them. In order to fix this, I have added a reset button in, that its located on the 2nd floor. If you follow a "Black Cord" you'll find a junction box with a button the on other side... Use that, thats the reset button. Version 5 of cargohold does not have this feauture, and is the reason why it never made it to the armory then.. Good news about version 7, all that on its thread though.... Okay phrogg, I hope I helped you out on your questions !

With many, many more hours probably 12+ now working on version 7, I thought I'd give you guys a heads up on what is finished. Staircases (Finished)Sky Change (Finished)Weather Effects (Finished)New Paths (Finished)SD objective gives 1 kill point for eatch box you blow up (Finished)Red spawn redone (Finished) I'm currntly working on a new blue spawn point. It will possibly elimitmate the old spawn, because I do think that red has it just a bit easier then blue force. I'm going to try to equal it out, but that might be hard to do... We'll see...
