Call of duty 4 classes?

no idea, whatever has a shotgun.

Care to enlighten me as to what classes there are?

Spec Ops, Assault, Sniper, Heavy Gunner, Demolitions.

Spec Ops can have the MP5, Skorpion, and Uzi, I believe.

Assault can have the M16, M4, G3, G36, AK47 etc.

Sniper can have M21, M40, SVD etc.

Heavy Gunner can have M249, RPD, M60.

Demolitions can have the M1014 and W1200 shotguns (I think)

Well...I have not heard a whole lot on the classes as far as defaults. You will be able to make your own classes based on your preferred style of play. You could make a rock solid assault class with certain perks. I'd say that maybe Double Tap, Stopping Power, Extreme Condtitioning (just 3 perks off the top of my head) coupled with some good assault rifles would make an excellent Assault style class.

That's just something I made up based on just some of the info that's been flying around. The choices are up to you and that's what's going to make this game amazing! :D

EDIT: Well I guess Rbevan just answered the real question lol :p .
