So i decided to go out and buy crysis yesterday. Sat down and played till 2 a.m. in the morning. Started playing at 11a.m. so there is alot of game play to it. Well I finally defeated the huge ship while on the aircraft carrier and I get in the VTOL and it goes to a cut scene saying that we are going back to the island to finish the job. So im like "Alright im going back to kick some more alien butt with a mini nuke luancher i got." Then roll credits. First words out of my mouth are "What tha $*&^!". If anyone else has played and beat the game you know what im talking. It doesnt even confirm wether thier theories on the aliens are right or not. Im all for cliches but when you leave such a cliff hanger like that you tend to cause alot of frustration. But its also a good thing that there will more than likely be a Crysis 2 but you have problems. If they go off from where you last ended there wont be any room for new weapons and on that matter they could have added a few more weapons such as two pistols instead of one or another type of sniper rifle in stead of just one. The weapon customization is a great idea and the fact that you can change it up in the middle of a battle is awesome as well. The nanosuit is just cool as hell imo. But the way that worded it is they made it sound like you can upgrade the nanosuit as you go along such as increased max armor and what not. The graphics are not short but awesome. With my Geforce 8600 GTS im able to run the game at meduim up until a certain point. When you exit the mountain and enter the cold ice covered climate the environment pushes the graphics to the limit so i have to put my graphics on low unfortunatly. The Enemy A.I. is smart but yet dumb on some occasions. Such as, If you chunk a grenade into a group or room they try to get away from it and they do run for cover and you can pin them down. Such as, if a soldier runs behind a rock and your laying down fire on the rock the soldier wont just pop out and just start firing at you he stays behind till you stop to reload and then he tries to kill you. A part where they are lacking is if you kill a guy without alarming anyone but a guy walks by with the body in plain view the guy just keeps walking like the body has been there for a while. As with all games there are the occasional bugs and glitches. For instance Im trying to get through a door and then all of a sudden I die nothing around me just fall over dead. Another one is some objects such as rocks, walls, and railings dont have there hit box sized correctly. For instance, Im trying to snipe a guy and im behind a rock, well i lean around the rock and line up my shot and boom i hit the rock when i had a clear line of sight. On the subject of the multiplayer there is much room for improvment with only two modes Power struggle and Instant Action it tends to get boring. Many are hoping for a team Instant action and some for something along the line of CTF. Also multiplayer does have its glitches. Say there are 3 of you and one truck well the truck is a two seater so someone has to ride in the back. Well i hope on in the back and tell him to floor it and I die. Apparantly he ran me over according to the game. So i figured it was a glitch and tried it again and i died again. So there is no hitching a ride in the back of a truck for me until they release a patch fixing it. All in all a patch is more than wanted for those who have crysis at this point, but the story line and gameplay makes up for its glitches and what not. So theres my 2 cents enjoy.
I tried playing the demo on my laptop and it was still really laggy on the lowest settings, I'll just have to stick to playing it on my roommates computer. I didn't get to finish the game but the graphics were just stunning, the single player was pretty fun. I didn't even touch the multiplayer yet, I've been satisfied playing COD4. I was hoping it would at least run on the lowest settings on my own computer, I was having this weird problem with the game not running in full screen. I set it to my laptops resolution but it still appeared to be halfway in windowed mode, I'm thinking that's what caused my problems.
The game never really excited me in the first place. So I have nothing to worry about!

Many of you think i just gave you a spoiler and i didnt. I just told you about how annoying the end was. You still need to play the game in order to understand the story line.
Everyone just relax...............I'm giving out hugs in the Outhouse Forums. :)

Sweet *gets in line*

No offense, but would it have killed you to throw a paragraph break in there. It's very difficult to read.

Unfortunately yesw it would have killed me to do so.

Don't worry too much, Mencar. It didn't bother me. Read news articles and things like that and walls of text seem that much more normal to you.

That being said, I do appreciate reading the insight, so thanks for posting your thoughts.
