December 13, 200717 yr http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/44298000/jpg/_44298235_mobiles_ap203b.jpg Piotr Staniaszek thought he could use his new phone as a modem for his computer under his $10 unlimited mobile browser plan from Bell Mobility. NOT!!!! He downloaded high-definition movies and other large files unaware that this incurred massive extra charges. The 22-year-old oil-field worker from Calgary said he thought a first bill for $65,000 in November was a mistake. When he spoke to Bell Mobility he was informed the bill had climbed to nearly $85,000 after more downloading. He said he normally paid about $150 a month for his phone and used to be notified of high charges. "The thing is, they've cut my phone off for being like $100 over," he told CBC News. "Here, I'm $85,000 over and nobody bothered to give me a call and tell me what was going on." CHA CHING what a great customer this guy is lol
December 14, 200717 yr man what a loser I had no idea you could dl high def movies on ur phone lol:D I wonder if my phone could do that:question:
December 14, 200717 yr most likely they charge per Kb like my service do.. fine for lookin at pages like this on your fone, but when yous tart lookin at things like 4gig of high def movie, it gets expensive.
December 14, 200717 yr who the hell would be stupid enough to download 4 gigs worth of movies through your phone... That must've taken forever to download.
December 14, 200717 yr Well if you get an unlimited data plan, you should technically be able to dl anything with your phone. Atleast that is the way I understand it goes with at&t. If you get the unlimited data plan. You get unlimited internet access. I guess that is wrong though.
