Anyone else been having issues with the game since 1.3 was released... Lately I've been having to try 5 or 6 times to connect to a server before it will actually connect... Just recently I've been getting a yellow message that says "Waiting for keycode authorization." This is crap, anyone know of a solution? Oh and tonight when trying to refresh my server list I didn't get a ping below 200.. WTFX

when that happens to me I just type in /reconnect in the console and it works just fine.

did you try /reconnect as I posted above? that does the trick each time when it times out.

if you change it to count to 30 it will join the server

^ set the limiter to 30 I'll give it a try see how it goes

I think it's dumb that you have to type in console commands for it to work. How development saavy does the general public have to be to play this game?

Get Quake Wars, so I can own you my sniper rifle ....You should acutally try ET:QW, kinda fun(still not to keen on the gameplay and graphics), and some of the guns have ridiculous drawbacks.

Not sure if this is any help Doc, I'm wondering if u had 2142 installed and if the auto PB load for that game is conflicting with your COD4 PB, if u do have 2142 installed try turning off the punkbuster A and or B in task manager, if u haven't already.

Thanks for the advice I will try it tonight! I guess, I never realized that PB for 2142 ran in the background when wasn't being played. I'll let you know.
