But the GT-R beat the Porsche 911 turbo's time on the Nurbergring, which is it's main competitior.

Also Impact, I really wish people would realize that American cars are infact quality cars...It's just when they "hiccup" we tend to hear a lot about it(Ever hear of any problems or recalls with Honda's? though they have had their share). Plus if the "Big 3" went under, our economy would probably take a big hit.

Toyota recalls from 2006.

Recalls from 2007.

http://www.internetautoguide.com/auto-recalls/07-int/2007/toyota/index.html

Toyota is the de facto standard for car quality and even they have quality issues.

Nissan is not Toyota.

"Nissan is recalling 686,500 Altima and Sentra passenger cars to fix problems with a sensor that could lead to engine stalling."

I want either the new M3 or the Lexus ISF. I want some luxury with my azzkickery.

The ultimate GT-R was the R34, I would even take an R32, but a car for 1/3 the price of a house no way.

Have fun with it dude. Take lots of pics for me! I hear it's supposed to be a screamer. There are lots of articles in the car mags I subscribe to, I don't read the articles for the ones I can't afford. I keep it under $35k. Bummer, wife costs much.

I like these sports cars but why do they have to be so small? I mean I'm 6'4 pushing 220 and its a pain to get into these things. I almost got a G35, its a sweet looking car but its so tiny on the inside, can't get it in good faith when I barely fit.

Then that would be a lot of Japanese brand cars since most of the American brand cars are made in Canada. BTW, Nissan GT-R is made in Japan although it's pretty much runned by a French auto company (Renault).

Renault is a GM company isnt it?

No it's okay, they'll issue a patch in a few months to fix it.
Looks like a sweet car...one of my dream cars is a GT-R (R34 mainly, I kind of like its design. I could get used to this though...Pity I'll probably never have the money to afford one)
