yeah, guitar hero 3 is pretty fun, the last set kicks my booty on expert though.

 

I doubt ill ever be as good as this 9 year old kid though......

Yeah, he's good too. I tried playing that last night. I was slightly inebriated though... as if that would have made that much of a difference. I did pretty well on easy. It's kind of a fun game. For people too lazy to play dance dance revolution :o

theres actually a way to play notes without hitting the strummer. its hard to explain.

 

and the 2sec lag is just the video and utube messing up. it hpns to alot of videos on youtube.

Yeah check out the tutorial they tell you how to do it in there. The notes that you can use it on are highlighted, they are brighter glowing than the other notes.

Man I'm loving this game! I heard you guys talk about it thinking can it be all that great? Well it is really fun.

 

I first played it on my nephew's PS2, we bought it for him for XMass, I had a blast so I got it for the Wii. I should have gotten the PS2 version, there seems to be some sort of lag, anyone else experience this phenomenon? I think I'm gonna buy it for the PS before I get too far along.

 

The difference from the PS to the Wii is very noticeable, my nephew even pointed it out to me. I don't know if it is because he has my old 27" Sony CRTand plays on that, or becuase I'm playing on a 50" Sony LCD. Maybe the bigger screen makes a difference? So any insight is welcome.

I have never heard about this, whatever do you mean? Calibrate my tv to for the game.

 

I was thinking it had something to do with the signal being sent to the Wii through the Wiimote, and the size of the screen making the relative sizes of the game stretch out, therefore appearing to be moving slower.

I love guitar hero-1 & 2, have a couple of friends who own the games. I can play quite a few songs on expert, but haven't had the opportunity to play numero tres. I really wanna play that and Rockband!
