I was playing BF2 as a squad leader when I was switched to the other side by the server. I thought I read here on this forum that you wouldn't be switched if you were a member of a squad. Any ideas why I was changed to the other side? (I was neither great or bad at that time.)

It doesn't matter if you're in a squad or not, I believe it's totally random.

It's supposed to put people in squads as a higher priority as people not in squads, but it doesn't always work. It will switch people some people regardless.

Thanks. This was the first time I had been switched while in a squad, squad leader to be exact. I wish it would warn you when it does it. It sometimes takes me a while to realize that I have been switched.
