Okay, someone tell me what patches I need before I install Northern Strike. Here is my issue: I installed 2142 and I had to install patch 1.05, then 1.25. I then installed 2142, Installed 1.4 full. Then I tried to install Northern strike. says that a update is needed. :o What other update is there? It also won't let me remove Northern Strike from the EA downloader, and says its installed. However, no desktop icon, and it just brings me to 2142, no maps for northern strike. :o I must be getting old. lol

Must be something wrong with my EA downloader. It says it installs 1.25 then just as it gets to 100% it says update failed. If you click on northern strike, it says you need 1.2 or higher to install. Beats me what is going on. :o Maybe I will just say the hell with Northern strike. :o

Tried, tried again, manual deletion, clean registry, reinstall.. same error.. and nothing at all from EA about it anywhere..

 

the northern strike exe file btw (for you to copy) is in the c:\programdata\ file that EA creates./

I think what I had to do was install 2142, install 1.4, then install NS, then install 1.4 again.

 

Whacked way to do a patch IMO.

Its a different problem, this isnt refering to the "this server only allows unmodified content" bug, this is a seperate, altogether nastier problem.
