At first astronomers were disappointed with pictures sent back from the surface of the Red Planet by the six-wheel robot four years ago. But a space fan spotted the figure, which was just a pinprick in the original photograph. It was blown up and posted on a website.

Well wouldn't you think he could have just put a cave mouth there? And that geologic structure is in geological terms 'humongous'. Why would rectangular door the size of a sky scraper be there?

So is the grand canyon... All it needs is a softer bit of rock or something similar.. The wind heads from the "bottom" of that image to the "top" in direction.. so erosion would be a perfectly good explaination.. Might have been a cavity formed by water or the like, which - when exposed- formed the cavity... so many explainations.. it seems odd. that thousands of qualified scientists studied these photographs to proverbial destruction, and missed a huge great big gaping hole and a "life form"... but this was picked up by a "fan".

February 3, 200817 yr Is it just me or has anyone noticed for how advanced our camera technology is, all the pictures with these kinds of things in them are still insanely blurry? I just don't understand that when you can buy your own personal HD video camera now.
