I got my nephew the ETQW game when I gave him my old system. I got him online, showed him the basics. I don't know how much he has gotten to play though. The 7300GT I had in that comp doesn't really do a good job. I'm thinking of buying him a new card, maybe a GeForce 8600GT SSC 256MB or maybe this, GeForce 8600GT 512MB. I'm leaning towards the cheaper one, it's also factory overclocked. I hope that doesn't make me cheap.

His name is Tigercon, he may also be nightstalker, I'm not too sure. So if you see him, make friends. Add him to your friend list, and tell him you know me from the site. Help him learn how to play. He is 11 so be nice. I'm gonna set him up with the Armory in his favorites when I get the chance.

I also gave him my copy of COD4 but I don't think that card will play it well, I don't know. Anyway I haven't set that game up for him yet. When I do I'll put the Armory in his favorites.

I wanted him to use the name lilgado but he didn't go for it.

lilgado would have been better!

Yeah I got a kick out of it. My sister brayed like a mule she thought it was so funny. Of course she does that for most everything, but I liked it nonetheless.

I had a couple other ideas too. I tried to change his name in the game. It didn't do, I thought you could change your game name to something different from your account name.

Well I liked the name you picked. sorry he didn't use it. It would have just been easier cuz u would recognize it. Oh well. Get the more expensive one.

My wife asked my sister if he played the game often, you see if he didn't I wasn't gonna buy him the card, she said he played it awwwwwwwwlllllllllllllllll the time. So I figured I'd get him the card. I bought the little tyke the GeForce 8600GT 512MB. I hope he likes it. I have no idea when it will be in though maybe next week. Let's hope I'm home to install it!

Wife said I have to buy the niece a bike cause all the stuff I've been getting Tigercon, it wasn't fair, cause they weren't even.

I've been reading lots of reviews on the interwebs and I found a few on this card, but only with 256MB ram, they weren't great. I started to feel bad. They said that the GT was on par with the 7600GT and the GTS was on par with the 7900GS. Well I priced the 7900 and it was still rather expensive. So I'm ugrading him from the 7300GT backup card I had, and at least this 8600GT has 512MB DDR3 ram, and is DX10 compatible.

I gave Tigercon my old comp.

PentiumD 960 duel core

2GB ram 4x512mb sticks

320GB Seagate Baracuda 10.11 7200rpm

Abit AW8D mobo supports cross fire

550W Coolermaster Real Power Pro >80%

Coolermaster case of some sort.

7300GT nVidia(old) , 8600GT 512MB DDR3(new)

15" Gateway monitor

CD/DVD burner.

New cumfort curve keyboard

Microsoft led mouse with two thumb buttons.

I'm gonna give him my Razor Baracuda head phones if he decides they don't hurt too much.

It's not much, but it'll surf the net, do home work, play most games reasonably well(with new gfx).

I love the kid to death.

I love the kid to death.

apparently more than the niece, unless she takes the lilgado name.
