February 13, 200818 yr Don't know if it makes a difference but I have a 8600GT and have been experiencing problems since COD4 came out. Now I can't play 2142 because of a 3D device-induced crash. I'm thinking of trading it out.
February 13, 200818 yr Its a good deal but with the geforce 9 series to be coming out very soon. Id wait for those to hit the shelves and drop prices on everything. If you have to upgrade now Id atleast go with evga since they allow you to return anything purchased within 90 days and upgrade to a better card.
