Tried to play this game online (PC) but i can't find any servers and when i refresh the server list, it says "Refreshing Master Server" or something like that but it doesn't do anything after that, just stays that way for like 15mins before i get fed up and try again. Then i added the "Armory Hardcore" server to the favourites, just so i could get online, but it tried connecting then it tells me the server has "timed out".

 

Any suggestions?

Do you have a firewall setup that could be blocking COD4 from accessing the internet? Not sure what else it could be. Sometimes when you connect to a server it will say it's for low pingers only but trying again to connect usually fixes it.

did u update to 1.5

sounds to me that one of those 2 is your problem

I have upgraded to 1.5 and the only firewall i have on is the default Windows one (i turned the other one off), but still no result

Add an exception to the windows firewall..

Exception to the firewall...don't forget about update punkbuster. I had the same problem a while back and everything was fine after i updated punkbuster.
