I am waiting on the Warhammer Online game to come out (hoping to get in the beta). I was just wondering if any of you were following this game and planned to play. It seems like it may be the World of Warcraft killer.

 

According to one site it will be out in 115 days (from today). I am not sure if that is accurate but I hope so!

Well, coincidence or not, WoW's expansion and WAR were both pushed back and will, coincidence or not, be released around the same time.

I played Last Chaos and Hero Online for awhile but got tired of mmo's this looks lots better but dont know if i could handle another mmo again...

I dont like mmo's but the table top game is good, but i like 40K better.

i hope its more like that table top game.

i HATE games where characters are stronger simply because they invest more time in a game grinding for levels.

I am not sure but I would almost bet it is going to have a monthly fee.

I was interested in it at first, but i think i may stick with WoW. I did some research on it (since I was a huge fan of the RTS games and tabletop) but there wasn't too much that grabbed me as being that much of a change from WoW except the universe(setting/realm/etc...) and name really. They do have a monthly fee which i think is about the same as WoW's current monthly fee ($15/month). Also, I was kinda hoping for a graphical improvement too (something else to help push people towards their game and away from warcraft), but it really looks like an old Half-life 1 mod. hopefully time will give it a change or bring something new to the table that will entice me.
