May 18, 200817 yr So who's got one i found out today that they come in very handy. Out of the blue this thunderstorm popped up and produced a tornado warning for about 1/2 an hour. It wasn't very strong but some damage was reported although it was odd this happened living next lakes doesn't really seem to help. To be honest everyone should get one they are good to have even if you don't live in Tornado Alley.
May 18, 200817 yr Yeah, we have a weather radio. It's nice when you're away from the tube. I use Desktop Weather though, and that seems to work out just fine, since I'm almost always on the computer.
