Nice pic, did you take it or find it?

it is a long exposure (as its night) hence the cloud looks smooth and silky,

(and edit, moved this to the "images" thread)

Wow that is beautiful that is a perfect example of what they call a mothership cloud. Very rarely do you see one that is in perfect form like the one in that picture. A storm that has that type of structure will definately produce one hell of a tornado. When a storm gets the mothership clould look the whole storm itself rotates resulting in an EF4 or EF5 tornado. Awesome picture!!!!!
I was wondering if that was a photoshop job or actually taken. Not saying its not real as I am not expert but I just do not see a lot of stuff flying up and around it. All the ones I have ever seen in real life were sucking stuff up.
It may just be that the stuff wasnt caught on the camera State. Like shotty said, the picture was taken at night with a long exposure, so small, quick moving objects may not be visible
That's a very interesting picture, I would be hiding in the basement for sure. Too bad he didn't take multiple pictures so we could see whats happening on the other side.
do you see the smiley face in the background? i sure don't but that would be kick ass if there was

Here's a rare "yo mamma" cloud.....

its photoshoped cuz theres nothing flying round the flag is blowing the wrong way and the elavator isnt in pieces. and the clouds dont spin like that.

That's what I'm thinking. The objects in the foreground doesn't look like it's being affected by the tornado.

News reported that Lori Mehmen of Orchard, took the photo from outside her front door. Mehmen said the funnel cloud came near the ground and then went back up into the clouds. Besides tree and crop damage, no human injuries were reported. (AP Photo/Lori Mehmen)
