Posted June 16, 200817 yr It's not actually jury duty more like the selection process. The positive side is i don't have to work tomorrow and Walmart pays me for a full day of my normal wage. Downside is i could be in a court house all day one of the reasons why i'm bringing my Nintendo DS. So has anyone here ever had to go through this and what did you do to pass the time.

The courthouse where I was serving jury duty has a TV so I watched TV all day (the only thing they had on was news).
June 17, 200817 yr I took a book, but they ended up settling before they started the selection process, then let us go as there were no other cases needing juries that day. I'm covered for another 2 years I think

Just remember to say that you would make a perfect jury member because you can spot guilty people a mile away and you'll be set

June 17, 200817 yr i did it was not to bad just read or play your ds . i actualy made it on a jury and it was kind of cool.
June 17, 200817 yr Author Well that was an uneventful waste of time. The good thing is i got out quick within 2 hours they had to many and sent the rest of us home. Downside according to Walmart policy i had to finish my shift so i went to work for 3hrs then came back home. Didn't even get a chance to play my DS let alone eat the lunch i made. At least i don't have to do it for another 6yrs.
