Could it be, Diablo III!???

 

I have been hopeful for Diablo III for a looong time, and have generally followed speculation on when/if it was going to come out. Nadril just alerted me to this:

 

if you go to www.blizzard.com, the entrance site has a frozen chunk of ice, with small items frozen in it. The one on the top right is undoubtedly a Diablo II LoD rune (Hel rune, for those who played.) He said that the entrance screen has been changing (the ice is changing)

 

there have been a few other possible clues as well.

 

I'm excited.

no silly, starcraft 2 got announced a while ago. They are announcing a new game Saturday. I cant wait!!

No i would say they are givin the release date for WoTLK. But thats just my opinion and besides they are lready stretching themselves thin as it is with WoTLK and Starcraft2 in the making. Adding Diablo three to the could spell push back dates for the two games they have already in development. But thats just my opinion.

Yea i doubt its Diablo 3, i think all the ice is for Wrath of the Litch king because theres where the Litch king is was in a block of ice and its breaking because hes being release and in the release date for it

I think you are all wrong. WotLK has already been announced. They claim to be announcing a NEW game. And you have to understand that game companies have many design teams. They don't have to take people off of SC2 or WotLK for Diablo 3. They have a seperate team working on the game.

Yeah, there has been a lot of talk about a new Diablo. I didn't know they were announcing another game, but now I am very excited.

 

It could still be WoTLK because they have yet to announce an exact release date, but I don't think that the release date is that big of a deal to change the site page. I guess we will see.

 

BTW... see the eyes in the center of the ice?

I'd have to say that I think its Diablo 3 as well. Ever since the Blizzard/Activision merger, I don't think they'd have any problem creating 3 games at once. The only other thing I can think of if it, for some chance, isn't Diablo 3 is that its just the release date revealed for WotLK

1. in this weekend is a conference of blizzard - WWI

 

2. at the blizzard page is a picture that changes every day. At 06-24-2008 there were Diablo runes on it (at least, some guy claims there were)

 

3. in the css file was hidden link to the pictures (two of six, the first and last one; they?re the parts of puzzles; they were named ?04? and ?15? respectively, and the 4th and 15th letters of alphabet are: ?D? _ _ _ _ ?O?). Find the missing letters

 

4. the catalogue with the files is named: ?232309". That means: ?W??W??I?. That means that they will announce it at WWI conference

Personally I don?t care: I?ve only entered into the first 2 lvls of dungeons of original Diablo

there are actually a W O and a D, and I think a P now too, so nobody knows about those anymore Bounty. And yeah, I saw the eyes

we all know blizzard. it'll be delayed months of testing before we ever get our hands on it.

 

i just hope it lives up to blizzard standards. cos gawd i hope i don't see the same classes again.

Talking about it makes me want to play through Diablo II again.

Grimmeh if you ever speak in that blaspyhmes way about blizzard I will come up to canada and drown you with maple syrup. Blizzards game are always the best and what great game do you know of ever not been pushed back a couple of times.

Diablo 3 would be frickin kool!!

I don't care if they push games back, I would be unbelievably disappointed if they didn't produce something to the Blizzard standard.

wotlk is out nov 1 as of rite now. blizz has 3 teams that do their games u got starcraft team diablo team and wow team. thats how they can do more then 1 game at a time. starcraft 2 wont be out till late next year. and an other game they have planed the year after that.

They have been keeping close watch on it. Some of their ideas are out there, but you can't blame them for guessing.

apparently the numbers have turned out to be the LOST numbers (according to diablofans)

so nobody really knows why they used those. Maybe just to confuse people.

 

And the splash screen has changed again. The eyes are clearer and part of the forehead is visible as well. A snowflake is the new symbol added (maybe representing Blizzard itself)

 

and I went to the blizzard website, and they had a job hiring thing saying:

"Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of Diablo and Diablo II, is looking for a lead 3D environment artist skilled at creating models and texture maps for both architectural and natural environments."

 

This is kinda out there on my part, but I just look at the fact that they mentioned "developer of Diablo and Diablo II" when WoW is obviously the most popular game.

Well they are DEFINATELY announcing a NEW game, unless people are lying:

 

"While there are several secrets in store for the occasion, including the title of the new game we're all hearing about..."

I really, really wish it was Diablo 3 but everyone has been saying that it's going to be something else.
