If you didnt see the other thread, Diablo III has just been announced. I decided it deserved a new thread because it is no longer a question.

I have been waiting for this game for sooo long! I am extremely excited!

It looks beautiful in my eyes. They even have ragdolls, and it actually still looks like diablo, killing masses of enemies at once!

I love you blizzard!

btw... the nonbelievers will be shunned

I honestly cannot believe this, the only thing I'm worried about is the release date. They announced Starcraft 2 pretty far back from its intended release so we have to wait a while for this. But this seriously will destroy another other game for the looks of it, move over BF3.
I think i need to change my pants after watching the cinematic trailer for the game....... nough said
Make sure to watch the gameplay trailer as well, this game is going to be so badass. This is probably the only game I really wanted to see, I wonder how long we will have to wait.

I'd say at least a couple of years... I would be ecstatic if I'm wrong. But the gameplay video is so awesome. This morning I woke up, the first thing I did was check blizzard. When I saw the III I immediately had to go take a deuce. lol

it looks so sweet though, I love killing hordes of enemies like that :D

Yea, I was just checking wikipedia and realized SC2 was announced a little over a year ago at BlizzCon 07 and that hasn't had any news surrounding it in a while. Maybe I'll be able to finish college first before this game comes out lol :D

yeah lol I was talking to a friend and he was like, dont tell me if SC2 comes out if it is near exams, because I will fail.

and I said, yeah, diablo III and SC2... its over.

well u can look forward to d3 some time in 2010 after sc2 comes out late next year.

According to an IGN interview one of the producers said it's been in development since Blizzard North was still around, it's been a long time. Some other neat little facts:

  • new version of battle.net for D3 and SC2
  • Some monsters will miss players and get their weapons stuck in the ground.
  • New health system, In cooperative play, when one player picks up a health globe, all players benefit from its restorative effects.

looking very sweet!

theres tyrael with his cool wings, good ol deckard cain, the memorable little church of tristram

i loved the battle on the bridge when all those thingies started climbing up the walls. looked intense but the barbarian fighting looked a bit slow almost struggling, so i'm going to guess that they'll make a character based on fast attk speeds. it would be cool if those little buggers culd jupm on his back or grab his legs or sumting.

the boss battle was badass! after killing it, the corpes bursts into flames and crumbles, very sweet animation! then explodes into the pentagram summoning a freaking army. i'd imagine it'll be one of many "oh sht" moments.

buttong mashing diablo is great fun! but still, i hope to see a more deeper bttle system. nevertheless, can't wait!

I say we storm blizzard and take it by force. Then we can forc ethem to work on the game night and day and finish quicker....... MUHAHAHAHA
