I heard from a friend yesterday that the Starcraft II demo would be available today to all Fileplanet premium account holders. Can someone check that out for me? :D

somehow I can't believe it... I dont think that they would keep it such a big secret.

If that was true i would get one right now!

Has Blizzard ever made a demo of a game?

only one that has been noted is the wotlk beta other then that nothing has been said yet.

My friend was in the Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 Beta, I'm hoping to get into the SC2 beta, right now i'm playing the RA2 beta and it seems ok, but i can't play long enough to learn the ropes before the hardcore people rush the crap out of me. That's why i want to get into the sc2 beta, at least that game i know most of the ropes already, and heck if it's true i'll pay the premium fee's to get into that.

But I'm pretty sure if they were going to release anything it'd be a beta before a demo. Which i haven't heard much about yet even.

Well, yeah, Blizzard releases betas, but I don't think they have any demos for any games.

Anyone with a premium account around?

They usually put stuff like that on the front page dont they? They love those things because people subscribe just to download the beta/demo, they did that for Battlefield 2142.
